A Heart Locked By Time

That evening Amanda was making dinner for herself and Lucas because William always came home in the morning. She also prepared some ingredients so that when William came home, she could cook it right away.

"Mama, has Hugo been fed yet? If not, Lucas will give it to him?" asked Lucas as he approached his mother in the kitchen.

"Oh right, it's time for Hugo to be fed, isn't it? Please can you feed Hugo, honey?" replied Amanda.

"Okay!" Lucas picked up the dog food box and walked to the front door to feed the dog.

At 7pm, Amanda and Lucas ate their dinner together. As usual, Lucas would tell Amanda about his day at school.

"Really? That's great, I'm proud that Lucas want to help your friend. Papa must feel proud too," Amanda said as she listened to Lucas' story.

"Hehe... Finish! Lucas has finished my food, can Lucas watch some more TV?" she asked.

"Have you done your homework? Do it first and then you can watch TV, okay?"
