Chapter 22 - The Hunt Begins

Leo's body had undergone a remarkable transformation, emitting a mystical golden gleam that seemed to flicker in and out of existence. His muscles had become noticeably more defined, suggesting a strength he hadn't known he possessed. Despite the changes, his hair remained the same jet-black hue, but now it exuded an aura of depth and mystery, enhancing his already striking features.

He looked at his reflection in the mirror with a bewildered gaze.

It was not that he didn't believe his eyes, but it was the fact that his already well-built physique from earlier could not even compare to his transformed self.

Looking at the muscular body that went on to the next level with his handsome face made him pose like body builders that he had once read about in magazines.

He posed in every way and angle possible to check the extent of his body's reflexes only to be surprised by the result. 

He was flexible.

No, he was flexible to the point that he could perform a show in which he could easily give himself a blowjob.

It was both terrifying and awesome at the same time, as if getting a well-built physique was not enough.

He dressed up and carefully cleared up all the stone chunks from the bedroom. 

His wives were still in their meditating postures, and he could feel that they were going through transformations too, but they were not on the same level of transformation that he had gone through.

At least they didn't have to have their eyes burst out or survive a continuous cycle of explosions and being regenerated again in their body to make the pain more or less than being tortured for an eternity.

After staring his wives, he decided to shift his attention to someone else.

"Hey, system!" Leo called out to the system in a domineering tone.

Silence...

The system didn't answer with its submissive voice and Leo started calling it again only to be met with the same answer, eerie silence.

Leo panicked and immediately sat on the recliner with his closed eyes trying to find the little blue dot in his mind only to be shocked by the events going on in his mind.

Somewhere in the void.

A huge planet was diagonal separated in two halves that were floating in the space for who knows how many millennia.

The planet was surrounded by various black holes that were revolving around it in a way that it could have a piece of it. 

If the black holes were to be studied closely, a shocking discovery could be noticed.

In their central areas, corporeal humanoid figures could be spotted. These humanoid like figures were beings who stood at a cultivation level that very few could even dream of. 

Despite having the planet surrounded, they didn't dare approach it because a being had ordered them to stay where they were and restrain themselves from making any personal moves.

Yes, these beings that had already reached a level of incomprehensible strength were being ordered around by someone who was no doubt much stronger than them.

All they did was revolve around the already destroyed planet that didn't even have a trace of life.

The silence in void soon came to a halt when a certain area away from the range of pulling force of these black holes started humming with energy. Soon after, a huge ship adorned with exquisite designs and various cannons that were capable of causing destruction of unimaginable level appeared. 

It was the moment of this ship's appearance when the black holes stopped revolving and opened a small path that didn't affect the ship moving towards the lifeless planet.

The ship safely arrived at the planet's half lifeless land only to let a man in his early 40s arrive there who soon started walking away in a direction.

The man was wearing a golden white robe that had strange symbols adorned on it that resembled flames. His face was average and had a bitch looking face that anyone would want to punch to death. A creepy smile was on his face that added another layer of bastard attitude as he hummed a melody. His eyes were crimson red and his hair were filled with the mixture of both gray and white.

He continued to walk towards his destination and soon arrived in front of a ruin like mansion that had its architecture stripped off from various places. The man looked at the mansion ruins and giggled as he had remembered something funny from his past.

"Ah… It was just like yesterday when trillions of lifeforms lived here, and now it's like this." He sighed and started walking towards the mansion's interior.

Soon, he arrived in front some statues.

It was the statue of a couple holding a newborn child in a blanket. The child's statue was pierced with a sword that had passed through the hands of the couple.

The atmosphere was breathtaking as these statues were the same size as the man in golden white robe. The statue looked similar to human figurines that were sealed in rock.

"Long time no see!" The man in robe waved at the statues with a wide grin on his face. 

"I was getting bored, so I thought I will visit you two." He spoke with the same manner, disregarding the fact that they were just statues.

Silence remained for a whole minute when he spoke again.

"Ah… You must be sad about what I did to your son that day, right?" He spoke while pondering.

"Get lost!" A strong voice from the surroundings was heard directed towards the robed man. 

The voice itself contained a force of shredding a human to pieces, but the robed man was still alive with his creepy grin.

"Oh my! Oh my! Don't be angry! I came here to offer news that would be useful for you." He said with his grin becoming wider.

"It's about your son~ Hehe." He added.

Silence…

"Huh! No response? Well, I just wanted to say that your son has already taken the first step of our plan." He spoke with an expressionless face this time and started walking away from the mansion ruins.

"The Hunt has begun now! Hahaha" The man's words echoed throughout the entire planet and his laughter was heard by those people in black holes too, which made them feel a chill run down their spines.
