Chapter 103 - Planning A Training Arc

After the brief episode with Nagato, Adam returned to his activities. Preparation, preparation and more preparation. A never ending cycle of preparation.

"Hmn. The TSF manufacturing plant is working fine. Would take a week to finish making all five thousand units." Adam mutters as he sits in his office and does work.

"Agent and Winter is handling the political affairs. There really is nothing I can do for now but wait. Haah…" Adam sighed before shifting his thoughts to how he can make use of this free time.

He thought of more self-improvement. After all, his personal power is the most important. However, there is nothing much he can improve on. His swordsmanship already reached the pinnacle of human mastery. Anything above that requires many combat experiences to reach an enlightenment.

"Right, my biggest weakness right now is my own Spiritual Energy. Lacking both power and volume." Adam mutters as he recalls the analysis of his battles in the Muv Luv world.

In Siegfried's explanation, technique and skill of a person is like a pipe on the barrel. The better the technique and skill of a person is, the bigger the tap will be and the more explosively they can channel their power which translates to their destructive power. For example, Adam only has Armament Haki and Aura reinforcement to channel his Spiritual Power or Aura into destructive power. Meanwhile Siegfried has something like Noble Phantasm. Adam's destructive power could never compare to Siegfried even if Adam is the battery that allows Siegfried to use his Noble Phantasm.

Also, Adam lacks reserve. His Aura gets depleted very fast in battle that he is limited in what and when he can use his ability or skill to avoid draining his Aura since he also is sharing his Aura to three different Servants. Arguably, if he didn't have to support three Servants, this issue might not be as severe but it is best for him to increase his Aura reserve regardless because having more is always better.

So, right now. Adam is thinking about a world where he can fix this problem. A world that has a power system primarily uses Spiritual Energy and has a method for him to fix his weaknesses.

"Touki? I remember Sairaorg Bael becoming OP with just that ability alone. Although it's literally just a more advanced application of Aura reinforcement." Adam mutters as he jolts down everything that pours out his mind on a notebook.

What Adam meant by Touki being a more Advanced application of Aura reinforcement is they have quite similar effects like enhancing all physical ability. But Touki goes an extra mile on magic resistance and adding extra offensive and defensive power by making the layer of energy capable of resisting damage and also causing damage to an opponent.

Not to mention the potential solution to his inability to use magic. After all, his disability is caused by his Semblance naturally devouring any Magic Power he produces. He cannot control that process like how he can make his Semblance nullify certain energy. It simply, innately deletes magic power because Mana is not natural in humans. With Senjutsu, he can practice Sage Arts that use Ki / Spiritual Power and Chakra / Natural Energy instead of Mana / Magic Power which is natural since Ki is excess life force and Chakra is the manipulation of vital energy from vitality.

Senjutsu is a technique that focuses more on healing and nature than destruction. Its destructiveness is inferior to baseline Magic. However, Senjutsu allows him to perform something like Dual Cultivation to literally increase the strength and lifespan of his lovers. An important ability considering his own lifespan is much longer due to his immensely powerful vitality that didn't stop growing to this day.

But, that is it for Senjutsu. More advanced application of Aura reinforcement, some exoteric magic that focus on healing and manipulation of nature and prolonging life.

Besides Senjutsu from High School DxD. Adam also thought of the next closest one, Naruto. That would have much more to offer in terms of technique and power like their Jutsus and Bloodline Limit abilities. However, that world's power system focuses more on Chakra than Ki.

"No. Wait!" Adam immediately stood up and slammed his hands on the table upon reaching a realization.

"Bleach world! Their power system is very comprehensive and focused greatly on Spiritual Power!" He mutters before standing straight and crossing his arms while rubbing his chin. "However, the danger level of that world is not a joke."

Adam is trying to formulate a possible way for him to infiltrate Seireitei and join Shin'ō Academy in order to become a Soul Reaper and learn all their techniques. But he needs to be in soul form to enter Soul Society. Or perhaps he could go through a middleman like Kisukei Urahara. But what can he offer to make them teach him?

"Fuck! I shouldn't have dropped the anime!" Adam clutches his head in regret because his perfect opportunity to gain power becomes uncertain.

"No. Perhaps there is another way." Adam thought of the new upgrade on the Interdimensional Contract function.

He now has another option of entering the Contract world instead of the usual dropping in. He can select to graft his existence, randomly into the Contract World. He will be assigned random background, family and even new abilities according to the explanation.

Although it is random, Adam still can influence it to some extent like wanting to be inserted in Soul Society, Hueco Mundo, Wandenreich, the human world or other realms in the Bleach world.

"But then, there's the issue of time… Even if time passes faster in Contract world which in turn make the main world pass slower, it would still take years for me to master the four basic Shinigami fighting technique which are, Zanjutsu, Hakuda, Hohō and Kidō also the Zanpakuto

Zanjutsu is swordsmanship, Hakuda is martial arts, Hohō is high speed movement technique and Kido is Spiritual Arts or literal magic that uses Spiritual Power to cast. These would take years to master. That is if the person is incredibly talented and a heaven defying genius especially Kido and Zanpakuto. Adam had neither and he didn't have the illusion of him being a protagonist who can master everything like learning kindergarten level education.

"As long as nothing will immediately destroy the world. That should be enough. The Siren wouldn't try to destroy the world. They will play by their scripts and slowly test the shipgirls. The real troublemaker is those new world order advocates. But Agent and Winter are enough to keep them in check while Enterprise can temporarily replace me until I return."

"Two years. As long as I grasp the basic training method and copy down every manual. Two years should be enough." Adam mutters to himself while the pen in his hand is tapping on the same location, leaving only one black dot behind.

"After grasping the basic method, I can train on my own with the manuals." He said and thought that if he encounters any issues with his training after that, he can just briefly return to Bleach world and seek help.

The source of Adam's confidence to reach basic mastery of all five Shikigami techniques come from the fact he have a biology alien supercomputer in the Crysis suit and the supercomputer are literally plug into his brain through the magical and metaphysical chip in his head that display his combat HUD and his System interface among its many functions.

But just like jacking up Intelligent stats. No matter how high it is, it cannot make a person genius since those are just raw calculation power for the brain. It only makes Adam the equivalent of a sentient AI, not a genius. But he will have a supercomputer as a brain to process all the information from analysis, memorization to understanding of data and information. Making hard subjects much easier to learn through sheer analysis, simplification and optimization. With those, his learning speed is not inferior to any genius.

Adam made up his mind and decided to inform everyone of his decision.

"You what?!"

"As I said, I want to embark on a contract alone." Adam repeats again for Jalter.

"But, why? Why must you go alone?" Jalter was outraged by his sudden that didn't even consult her first or anyone.

"Indeed, I wish to know the reason too, Master." Siegfried nodded.

"Haah… let's just say that this world is very dangerous and I will infiltrate that place to enter an academy." Adam replied.

"I realized my weakness as you said, Siegfried. My Spiritual Power is lacking along with my technique. Then this place I'm going to infiltrate is perfect for me." Adam said and continued to explain the Bleach world power system and what he is going to learn from the academy.

"If I can master Zanpakuto and obtain my Shikai and Bankai release. My power can increase more than ten fold. This power is important for the enemy we will encounter in the future." Adam said solemnly and reminded them of Adam's enemy, the Outer Gods.

"That's why, I must do this." He reasoned that Jeanne and Siegfried understand but Jalter is unhappy that Adam have to go alone.

"What if something bad happened to you? Like encountering a powerful enemy?" Jalter questioned with her arms crossed, intent to convince Adam to at least bring him along. "What if you accidentally die? You almost did twice and if not for us. You might really die. Also don't give me that excuse you can resurrect yourself. That's not an excuse to do dangerous things!"

Jeanne and Siegfried saw their cue and immediately brought the girls out from the room and gave the two some space to sort this one out.

Looking at Jalter's eyes that threatened to leak out tears, Adam sighed and wondered why he or men in general are weak to the tears of their loved ones. He is already reconsidering his choice of going to Bleach world.

"I swear it will not be dangerous. Not like I am going into a battlefield or a warzone. I'm going to an academy to learn." Adam tries to reason with her.

"But it is still dangerous. Can you really promise me there is no danger at all? Can you? No."

"Then how can I make you agree?" Adam tried to compromise.

"Bring me with you." She said, which made Adam sighed even more.

"I can't. You will be found out and beside, I cannot bring you along into the Academy. Hiding isn't possible either because those people are Shinigami, they will detect your presence in a heartbeat." Adam explains as it is near impossible for him to hide Jalter's presence before those that can detect souls like Shinigami.

Seeing there is no way for her to convince Adam to bring her along, Jalter could only resort to threat.

"I will hate you if you go alone." She said but the threat is ineffective.

"Then. I'd rather endure your hate than risk not having the strength when I need to protect you and everyone. It happened once and I will never forgive myself if I let history repeat itself again." Adam said his ultimatum rather softly without a hint of anger or frustration in his voice before he stood up and teleported away.

"As if I need your protection, idiot." Jalter mumbles in silence after Adam leaves. Her voice carried dissatisfaction and worry but her eyes couldn't hide the joy she felt from Adam's parting words which heated up her body and heart and send butterflies inside her stomach.

Informing Agent and Winter went much smoother. None tried to dissuade his decision and only wish they have is he will be careful and return safely.

Besides that, they also have a 'request' before he leaves for the Bleach world for a year. Adam later spends the whole night to top off his 'love' before he leaves his wives.

After finishing informing his close companions, he went to inform Enterprise and New Jersey. He appointed them two as his temporary replacement. These two will work together and make decisions for Eagle Union while he's away.

Adam spent some intimate time with Enterprise that evening before returning to the Orbital Fortress to attend to his wives, Tina and Alice. All of them wished for him to spend time with them before he left for a very long time and he will do as they wished and indulge them as much as possible.
