"I didn't say it was bad. Just that the populace isn't ready," I soundly refuted for Anna's sake. "We can make it work, but it'll probably be decades until we can safely implement such a system."
Or maybe it'll take just a decade depending on how fast we can educate the populace. Knowledge needed to be widespread so that people can make informed decisions, but with the current infrastructure, that'll just fail so spectacularly that it'll devolve into nation-states breaking off and doing their own thing.
