Trent and Felix headed towards the warden's office for all corrections officers in this prison. Inside the office, Trent guided Felix to his room. As the deputy, Trent had his own room inside the warden's office. It wasn't as big and luxurious as the Head Warden office that Felix owned now, but it was as big as the Chief police officer in any police precinct that he ever worked at.
How come offices for wardens in prison were better than the offices for police officers outside?
Did the government care more about a correctional department, so they allocated more funds to them than they did to the police department?
Felix doubted that.
No wonder the higher ups were suspicious of the correctional bureau.
The correctional officers that were inside the office all stood up and saluted when they saw Trent and Felix walk in.
Most of them were facing Trent instead of Felix, making Felix question if they were actually saluted to Trent or him.
