Olivia's story
It was time for exercise and the inmates all gathered in the yard.
Olivia sauntered inside the high-fenced surrounded yard and headed towards the bench. She took her usual seat, and her 'friends' sat together with her.
Scanning the yard, Olivia's eyes were searching for someone among the inmates that were present there.
Opposite to Olivia sat Jasmine. She was crouched on the ground at the corner between two fences. Jasmine was trying to be as invincible as she could.
Because she was just getting better from a cold, she was excused from doing her labour work today. Thus, she had to join the other inmates in the yard where she usually avoided going to.
Jasmine was in deep thinking. She was assessing the pros and cons of Vince's offer. It was hard for her to think straight right now, after Joshua's betrayal. The man she had poured her whole life into had abandoned her just like that when she fell into trouble. How can she put her trust in others now?
