Trent laughed out loud at hearing what Officer Kim said.
"I didn't expect that," mumbled Trent, while chuckling in amusement. "Can we use that to eliminate him?" asked Trent.
Officer Kim looked at Trent with a deadpan expression, wondering if Trent was dumb, "Boss, being gay is not a crime," said Officer Kim in a cold laced tone.
A same sex relationship might be frowned upon decades ago, but times were different now. People were open-minded and more accepting at this age and time.
Years ago, this might have been a big issue in Cratia and could be used to bring down someone, however, things weren't the same anymore.
In fact, nowadays, those who looked at those who had a same sex relationship disdainfully were said to be homophobic. If they wanted to use Felix's sexual orientation to bring Felix down, it might have worked against them instead of aiding them.
