Chap 13

Drake and Katie arrived at the class, where an old man with very pale face dressed in black sat on the secretary. After a while, when all the students were there the teacher got up from his chair and walked in front of the students.

"My name his professor Karpov and I'm here to teach you how to defend against the dark arts on behalf of your headmaster. I won't remember your names and you won't remember mine, so let's get started."

And with that, they received a very intensive class, where they learned about some dark creatures and other spells, all of it known by Drake already. While everyone has opened "the dark forces book: A Guide to self-protection," Drake opened another book about DADA but a lot more advanced one. He just read the book, barely paying attention to the class, he still answered perfectly to two questions made by the teacher which earned 10 points to Gryffindor.

As the teacher ends the class, all the students get up and walk off from the class. Drake and Katie went to the one the secondary exist of Hogwarts that leads to Hagrid hut and the black forest. When they arrived at the exit door, Scarlett and Cho weren't there yet. While, they were waiting for them, Drake saw a cat coming in his direction and he knew it was Z. He went to fetch him and eyed Z with a very angry look before he could say anything, Katie took the cat from him and started to pat him.

"Katie, put that cat down, I need to have a very serious talk with him…" said Drake.

"Is this your cat? If it's not, why were you looking at him like that?!"

"It's my cat and he ran away…he shouldn't have done that…if any teach…he shouldn't have done it!"

"Oh…sorry…it was just too cute; I didn't know that you had a cat?!" said Katie while she gave Z back to Drake.

"Oh…I have four…and they are not …whatever."

While they were talking, Scarlett and Cho arrived at the meeting point with dead bored faces.

"Hahaha! It seems you liked the class very much "said Drake laughing.

"Shut up!" responded two very angry voices

"I know the feeling…I know the feeling" said Katie to them.

"Okay, okay…I won't say anything…but we should get going before it gets too late "said Drake.

"Where are we going?" asked Cho followed by Katie and Scarlett.

"Well, we are going to Hagrid hut, to fetch my other cats."

It was only now that Scarlett and Cho noticed a cat walking behind them.

"Oh…so cute…it's the cat from the train, right?" said Cho.

"Yup, its name is Z, and I left the rest of my be…cats with Uncle Hagrid since he is the best beast caretaker from the world."

"What?! Do you have more? How did you do it?!" asked Katie.

"Well, let's say I have a few secrets…maybe someday I would let you know some of them" answered Drake with a wink to her, which in return he received a punch.

"Heheheh…I bet you have a lot of secrets Drake, but I won't pry on them for now…but if you take too long…hehehe!" said Scarlett giggling and with a mischievous tone.

"Yeah…yeah!"

While they were talking, they went down a stone path which took them to Hagrid hut.

*Knock* knock* *knock*

"Uncle are you there, it's me Drake."

"Oh, what you doin' here Drake?! Oh, and who might be this youn' lady's?" said Hagrid after he opened the door to the four students.

"Oh c' mon Uncle, they are Cho, Katie, and Scarlett, and this ladies it's my Uncle Hagrid…of course he is not my uncle…but he has helped Dum…my dad take care off me and gave me some tips about the knowledge of beasts caretaker, together with uncle Newt." Said Drake while made the introductions and talked about him a little.

The three ladies looked at him with pity since they could guess that Drake didn't have his biologic parents mainly Scarlett because she knew what happened eleven years ago.

"Hey! Don't look at me like that, I don't need pity, fortunately, I have a dad, a few uncles, and aunties that took care of me. So, uncle where are my cats? Did they behave?"

"Well, thanks youn' Drake for your words hehehehe! Yup, I already call them, they should be here any minute. Hey, you should let them come here every day, Fluffy was very happy with Star."

"Who is Fluffy and Star? How did you two meet?" asked Cho before they could continue talking.

"Yeah, you seem to know a lot about Hogwarts" continued Katie.

"I know a lot because I read a lot and Fluffy and Star are…our cats.

"We should get going Hagrid before it becomes too late," said Drake one more time, trying to rush things.

"And here we go again, you are running from the questions "commented Scarlett.

"Damm…these girls…." Cursed Drake in his mind.

"Ok! Fan', Drake and girls lets go, follow me! "said Hagrid.

As they go to the black forest, only in its border, Drake called them.

"Oh SHIT...Fuck, fuck, fuck…. why?!" started Drake cursing as he saw two three-headed dogs coming in their direction and flying above them were Jade and Greenie…all of them in their true forms.

When the girls saw those beasts coming in their away, Katie and Cho started to scream, while Scarlett had an astonished look. Drake mute Katie and Cho, while Hagrid had a panicked look.

Before he could do anything more, both beasts turned into their smaller forms and tackled him. He started to pat and let them settle in. When they settled, he got up from the floor and walked to Hagrid and the ladies.

"So, I will lift the spell but no screaming or talking until I'm finished speaking?" said Drake to Katie and Cho, then he turned to Scarlett "

"You too just talk after I'm finished. Let's go inside uncle hut…c' mon uncle it's not the end of the world I will explain them." Said Drake in a serious tone to both, since he had messed up, he would clear the mess. They started to walk, and no one said a word with the beasts in a toe and fighting for spot-on Drake shoulders.

They walked in the hut and Hagrid went to prepare a tea while the girls got comfortable in their sits and looked at Drake. Drake looked at them especially Scarlett…since she was with a very strange look…almost like a predator when he observes his prey.

"So, Jade it's a dragon, Star together with Fluffy is a three-headed dog, Greenie is Swooping evil and Z it's a Zouwu and they are not harmful…only to the people that I want them to attack, they are gentle and before I came here I would let them out once in a while into the forest. I also have a proper place for them to be. They are all gifts or beasts that I found mistreated by hunters" explained Drake to the girls.

The girls asked him all possible questions which he answered, he also said that he would let them play with them when they were here in the forest. Hagrid was paying attention and interjecting in a few answers from Drake since he has made some mistakes. The only one who wasn't so happy it was Scarlett together with Jade, they couldn't stop from eying each other.

"Well, it's getting' late for you to wandering' around here, it's time for you to go," said Hagrid to Drake and the girls. Drake transformed all the beasts into cats which made the three girls astonished one more time.

They never thought that a boy from the same age as them could do so many things good and bad.

"Okey, see you tomorrow, "said the four of them. While drake put the transformed kittens in his hat.

"You should get going to the Great Hall, I need to go and put this four in their proper places," said Drake in a gentle tone to the three girls.

"Well, I need to go to the dorms too, I will catch you later," said Scarlett to them. Both Katie and Cho went going to the Great Hall while Drake and Scarlett went to their dorms.

As they separated, Drake and Scarlett got alone.

"So…I have my suspicions about you since very few people know my story," started Drake speaking.

"Stop it…my mom name is Irina and you probably don't remember her since you were only a boy. She and headmaster Dumbledore or should I say you're foster dad have been friends since then."

"You…don't mean…that…that…are you her daughter?! I only remember the few times she went to visit me in Godric Hollow. You are the daughter of the elder Dr…Irina…unbelievable!" said Drake with an incredulous look.

"Yeah…but I'm not a pure one…I'm half-blood…I asked her if I could meet you but she always said no…until you turn 11 years old…and she told me…how she found you and also what you did when she visited you…" said Scarlett in a sad tone.

"See…as I'm half-blood…I'm a sinner to my race…at the eyes of the other Dragons…I'm a disgrace and Jade knew it when she saw me…so that's why we were glaring so much at each other. Since I was half-blood, my mom went to speak with your Dad and asked him, if I could attend school with you. I'm older than you if we consider the wizard age, but if we are going to the Dragon, I'm around your age. So, your dad accepted me. And here I am now, for me its also going to be easy this year…but at least here I can make new friends and learn new things…I only miss mom.

Drake watched as Scarlett talked about her, he had an incredulous look but also a very gentle one. Scarlett finished talking and Drake didn't say anything he just went to hug her.

"Don't worry your secret is safe with me and you can count on me to be here whenever you need. I don't care if you're a dragon or a half-dragon or even a human, for me you are my new friend," said Drake while he hugs her.

After a few moments they separated, and Drake asked her one more thing.

"Hey…did your mother told you all the stories about me…."

"hehehe…all of them…even the ones about you saying…that when you grew up, you would be her boyfriend because she was beautiful…. hehehe" answered Scarlett giggling.

"Oh c' mon, I was a boy and I was too naïve about those things…"

"Yeah sure…just for you to know…most of the Dragons know about that story since my mom got pissed about with one of the elders saying that she was too old when she told them that story…it seems your reputation keeps getting better heheheeh!" said Scarlett laughing at him.

"Damm…fuck it…I won't visit that place for the near future" thought Drake. What he didn't know it's that he would visit it in a very near future.

"Well, I should get going to my dorms, I will see you at dinner," said Scarlett running off.

Drake went to the Gryffindor tower and before he could go to the dorms he was stopped by the twins. After he explained how he did it, the twins showed him the Marauder's map. This made Drake very interested in the object itself and in the ones who made it. After that, he went to the dorms entered in his suitcase, gave a sermon to the beasts and let them go to their habitats after patting and play with all of them.
