Lost

'It's cold.'

The only things that came to her mind. Slowly the girl opened her eyelids. But nothing came to her sight, just a complete darkness as she is lying on somewhere.

She stays still, ears focusing on her surrounding. She dare not to move, not even an inch. Why? Simple, because she is scared.

She is breathing normally, in the darkness her face stayed calm as if nothing had happened. She tries to recollect her memory. But what is it that she try to remember?

Not a single clue of whatever happened.

The girl now slowly brings herself to sit instead of lying down. Her fingers move slightly, brushed on a soft and many pieces of...?

She doesn't know how to describe it. She slowly took in a breath and exhaled softly. This smells like... nature? Her surrounding gives echoes of crickets humming.

Now that she realized, she is outside. Something slips off from her eyes, a loose ribbon slides of from her head. She didn't realize that she is blindfolded.

The first thing she saw as soon the ribbon slips off, the moon. It's shine brighter than any star. Then she see the lake, reflecting the moon.

She moves her knees, leaning to her front and crawls towards the lake. A few steps, she meet the lake side.

A maiden reflected by the water, eyes crimson red like blood. Her breath hitched for a second, but she didn't move, only her pupils shrunken in response.

"...."

She calmed down, this is her reflection? Her hand moves and touched her pale cheeks. She looks pale, exhausted, and lost?

Her Ash brown hair goes over her shoulder to the grass. it seems her hair is waist length. Her face is round, and she seems to look like teenager.

She is very confused as this is her first time seeing her own reflection.

"Who am I...." a soft voice cracked from all the confusion.
