64: First Day of School

"Ok, you can ask your questions" - said Chifuyu as she watched all the girls started to raise their hands.

"I'd like to be the first" - said a beautiful girl with blonde hair and blue eyes, seductive body, but with a smug attitude, possibly because of her noble ancestry, Cloud calmly analyzed.

"You can ask any question you want, although I may not answer it" - Cloud said calmly while concentrating his attention on the girl - "Sorry, I still don't know your name".

"My name is Cecilia Alcott, candidate for representative of England, as well as future head of the Alcott family" - said the blonde girl now known as Cecilia as she puffed out her voluptuous chest proudly, though her expression changed to one of irritation when she noticed how the boy seemed not to react to her introduction.

"Ok..." - Cloud nodded with a bored look, which made the girl even more infuriated.

Ichika simply covered his face with his hand as he shook his head, after all, he too had received hostility from the girl during his first day of school, and it was thanks to the help of his other classmates that he managed to get out without some kind of scratch.

"Are you trying to piss me off, mongrel?" - Alicia asked with hostility.

"No, I just didn't expect you to give me your whole resume, princess" - Cloud replied as he rolled his eyes at her - "Now ask your question because I'm sure there are more people waiting for their turn"

"Y-You!" - Alicia roared angrily.

"Alcott..." - growled Chifuyu as she glared at the girl - "Ask your question."

"Ok" - muttered Alicia with a frown - "Why did they let you into the academy? I understand Orimura-san's case because he's the only man who can pilot an [IS], but that's not the case with you"

"Because I have enough equipment and power to fight on equal terms with any [IS] pilot" - Cloud replied as he folded his arms - "This was checked by the top brass of the academy, and endorsed by the Japanese government, though if you wish, we can have a little sparring match, so you can see it for yourself."

Cecilia's eyebrow began to twitch as she felt this blonde boy not only attack her pride as a noble, but also as an [IS] pilot.

"Ok, enough, later you can fight, but now we are at the introduction of a new student" - Chifuyu said with a frown as she shot an annoyed look at the young blond boy to stop teasing the girl.

Cecilia sat down, though not before shooting an angry glare at the boy.

For better or worse, Cloud had gained the undivided attention of one of his classmates.

"Okay, next question" - Chifuyu said as she shook her head.

"I'd like to know more about this equipment you're talking about" - said a cute girl with a sleepy look.

Cloud raised an eyebrow before looking at Chifuyu, who seemed to also be interested in this new equipment.

"Ok, I won't go into too much detail, but I'll show you what it's all about" - said Cloud calmly as he pressed his neck, only for a strange mechanized suit to start covering his body, a rather tight one that didn't leave much to the imagination.

The girls blushed at this appearance, even Maya was staring open-mouthed at the young man, while Chifuyu simply raised an eyebrow.

"Project name, [Raiden], a biomechanical suit specifically designed to counter the abilities of the [IS], it possesses artificial intelligence that constantly adapts to combat and analyzes the movements of my opponents, sending me real-time information about their possible movements" - Cloud answered while shrugging - "It's a short-range suit that amplifies all my base parameters by at least 500%."

"Biomechanical suit?" - Chifuyu repeated as she raised an eyebrow.

"Yes, it's a suit that is basically a second skin for me, and it feeds off my unique energy" - answered Cloud as he walked over to the board and started writing down all the basic information about his suit.

"Doesn't seem like a big deal" - Cecilia snorted as she folded her arms - " Not counting that you can only move through the ground, which makes you vulnerable to long range attacks."

"You think the scientists didn't think of this?" - Cloud asked as he raised an eyebrow - "[Raiden] has base equipment just like the [IS] in which he can change depending on the situation. As for not move through the air, that was indeed a problem until recently, but not anymore because let's just say a certain rabbit helped me solve it."

Chifuyu and Houki's expression changed when they heard this because they knew who he was talking about, which brought a new wave of surprise because they didn't expect Tabane to do something like that, although maybe she did it to simply spit on the scientists who had achieved what she thought was impossible, as well as to get information about the suit and adapt it to her new toy.

Cecilia's face turned as red as a tomato, though she had to admit that her words were stupid, after all, it was obvious that the creators of the suit would think of something like this if a girl her age had also brought it to the table.

"Me" - Ichika said as he raised his hand to ask his question.

"You may speak, Orimura" - nodded Chifuyu calmly.

"Thank you, Chifuyu Nee" - replied Ichika with a smile, only to let out a groan of pain - "Ouch! Why did you throw a book on my head!?"

"In class I'm Orimura sensei" - said Chifuyu with irritation, such it seemed that her idiot brother didn't understand that at work they were teacher and student, so she had to make her position clear.

"Where were you for the last six years?" - Ichika asked while frowning.

Houki also raised an ear to listen to the young man's words that had been haunting her thoughts all this time.

Cloud was silent before looking at Chifuyu, who simply shook her head - "Sorry, it's confidential."

"Are you kidding?" - Houki said as she stood up abruptly.

"Shinonono" - said Chifuyu with a warning tone, but the brown-haired girl looked like she was so angry that she hadn't heard her.

"We've been worried about you for six years! But you can't even tell us where you were!?" - Houki exclaimed angrily.

Cloud let out a heavy sigh before shaking his head - "Listen, we can talk about this later, but for now I can tell you that I wasn't in a nice place, that's why I'd rather not tell you about my situation"

The girls simply remained silent as they looked at the new boy, Ichika Orimura, and finally Houki Shinonono.

Cecilia frowned because it was little annoying that the younger sister of the inventor of the [IS], was related to the only two boys in the academy.

Houki gave the blonde boy an annoyed look before letting out a sigh - "Sorry."

"We'll talk later" - Cloud replied as he shook his head.

"Ok, but I'm not going to accept lies, Cloud" - replied Houki as she sat back with a firm expression on her face, as if she was a hawk checking the area for its next prey.

"Ok, next question" - Chifuyu said as she shook her head, at least the situation had been resolved without her having to intervene.

"Me ~!" - exclaimed a girl with short brown hair.

"Ok, you can talk, Kujo" - said Chifuyu calmly.

"Do you have a girlfriend or a partner?" - asked the girl with the surname Kujo with a slight blush, though this made the girls pay attention to the young blond once again, even Maya Yamada seemed to have a sharp look on her face when she heard this question.

"Currently, I'm single, in fact, in this life I haven't had a girlfriend" - Cloud answered honestly - "Let's just say that my living conditions weren't the best where I was the last few years, and my interactions with the opposite sex could be counted on the fingers of one of my hands."

The girls began to get excited as Chifuyu simply shook her head, though she quickly put the class in order.

"Are you interested in anyone in the class?" - asked another girl as the girls again squealed in excitement.

Cloud raised an eyebrow before looking around, keeping his eyes on four women, those being Houki, Cecilia, Maya, and finally on Chifuyu, though this didn't last long, in fact, no one noticed except Chifuyu, who was paying attention to the young blonde to prevent something out of control.

"Well, I'm not going to lie..." - Cloud replied as he fell silent.

The girls seemed to be on the edge of their seats as they waited for the young blond's response, though no matter how much time passed, Cloud still didn't say anything.

"Well?" - The girl with the surname Kujo asked as she raised an eyebrow.

"You asked me and I answered" - Cloud said as he shrugged - "That aside, I don't plan on saying anything else."

The girls were silent as they let out an annoyed sigh.
