Chapter 18: Izana's Queen [3]

For Izana, A queen must not only have the power to utilize strategies to the fullest but also be able to contemplate and come up with ideas quickly and counter her opponents-

Seth was strong but it had been quite a while since she had been in a battle and she was a little rusty- but that was nothing Izana couldn't fix, after all he couldn't let his queen be so weak.

As he watched her fallen body twitch, Izana gave a cocky smile.

"Level 2 too hard for ya?" He asked with a laugh.

Seth stood up slowly, her knees aching but the resilience in her eyes fought off any kind of weakness. Izana loved this- she was ready to face him.

He clenched his teeth and sprinted toward her, if it was a regular sprint, Izana was sure that she would be able to keep up with his movements but this was not just a regular sprint… During this sprint, Izana cloaked his Magical energy to the point that not even the slightest trace was left- so he was much like Sairaorg.

After cloaking his magic, there was no way Seth would be able to sense him and he was far much faster than Seth… so she couldn't keep up. Izana's fist crashed against Seth's face and a crunching sound echoed before she was sent flying toward the ground, a deep crater forming beneath her.

Izana grinned evily as he watched Seth trying to get back to her feet- it would be quite a while before she was able to figure it out and counter him. Before she could completely gain her bearings, Izana moved once again… his aim was clear, inflicting as much damage as possible.

But as he neared her trembling figure, he noticed something… was off about her.

Yet he advanced further and appeared in front of her, just as he did- a wheel of flames engulfed Seth forcing him to delay his punch.

"You think I wouldn't see it sooner or later, Master?" Seth asked as Izana widened his eyes.

The wheel of flames shot toward him but he didn't panic, Izana vanished into thin air once again and appeared behind her, throwing a kick forward but Seth blocked it with her hands.

'She turned around quickly,' Izana thought as he drew his leg back and threw his fist forward but Seth caught it quickly.

"Master, even if you cloak your Magic-" Seth said and her glowing armor lit up, bright crimson flames highlighting their  armory plates as they spread onto Izana's fist, "You can't escape for my fire,"

Despite being in such a troubling situation, Izana didn't care much as the flames hurriedly attempted to cover his arm… no a grin tugged at the edges of his lips.

POD burst to life around his arm, highlighting it with a destructive crimson aura as Seth's figure was consequently pushed away by the activation of his Power Of Destruction… the flames that once encased his arm vanished quickly and all that was left was a deep shade of black on his arm, a stern reminder that his arm had been roasted.

Izana withdrew a potion from his pocket, the liquid jiggling within the bottle as he chugged it down quickly- the black charred parts on Izana's arm vanished and healed up instantly.

"Very good, you came at me with the intention to kill," Izana said and threw the bottle to the ground, letting it roll on the rocky ground, "But if you truly want to be a queen of mine, you must learn to make sacrifices…"

With that said, Izana raised his right hand toward Seth- she looked at him with a surprised gaze as he let his index finger touch his thumb.

"And you must learn how to truly be ruthless- because in the midst of a battle, the air is ruthless and so are the warriors," Izana said, sagely as POD wrapped around his entire arm.

Of course he was spewing bullshit he saw in anime but it did help Seth though, it helped her prepare for what came imminently.

Izana flicked and a giant orb of POD shot through the air at an alarming rate, so fast that Seth could barely comprehend why such a big attack would be moving so quickly?

But nevertheless she spread her devil wings, both of them encased within crimson flames which made Seth's armor look even more beautiful to Izana's expectant eyes. She shot into the air at an alarming rate, determined to dodge this orb and keep more space because if she knew her Master well- he wouldn't just expend such great amounts of energy for an attack that could simply be dodged…

And as she expected, the orb of POD spun on the ground, lifting the rocky earth beneath it and shot into the air- like a man on a mission… 

But Seth was prepared, she took a stance and watched as the POD spell shot toward her with great speed yet she could only smile as she drew her arm backward, flames rushing out from her fingers and turning into an arrow.

'Are my eyes deceiving me?' Izana thought.

For the first time, he was truly surprised as an arrow made of crisp, crimson flames was forming in Seth's hands.

[I believe it's the technique called 'Fuga']

'You think I don't know that?' Izana asked surprised.

The arrow of flames was becoming more well-defined now, Izana could hear the crackling of flames but it wasn't only that, the whole sky had lit up in response… heat seeping into the air.

Seth was a devil that specialized in Fire magic only- which meant she knew no Lightning spells, no Earth spells, no Barrier spells but her Fire spells were nothing to joke around with… in exchange for defensive magic, this devil had poured all of her soul into offensive.

It was even capable of burning Izana's hand which showed how powerful it already was, because Izana had quite a bit of reinforcement around his skin… but the flames had burn through, turning it black and this was why Izana feared what a Fuga from Seth could do…

I'm honestly tired of writing this A/N of reminding you to join... but I'll still write this A/N because I wanna earn from this work of mine and write it till it have at least a thousand chapter...
