"How did you do it?" Ray, the redhead who bet on him surviving decapitation, asked. They stood in the Markov Military Base's internal armory. The building had four rooms. One was a hangar with vehicles, a second held ordnance, a third had weapons, and the one they stood in had power suits and armor. "Civilians buying weapons here is illegal; resale is unthinkable."
"It's illegal for civilians and soldiers to buy and resell weapons," Greed smirked. "I'm neither. I'm a transmigrator."
Ray turned to him with narrowed green eyes, "I saw rich transmigrators at your auction, but I don't see them here. That means you got a special contract – why?"
