Neal stepped out from the clinic and behind him, Doctor Ava peeked her head.
"Mr Knox, would you mind coming in for a minute? I need to make a quick check up on you too," she said.
Knox just shot one glance at the vampire before leaving them. When the two disappeared, Neal sat down across from Hellion. Alice put the books down from her face.
"What happened to you?" she asked, referring to Neal.
The other vampire jolted from his seat. "When did you arrive?" Neal asked, squinting.
"I have been here since earlier. It's not my fault if you didn't notice me," Alice said, closing her book. "I got bored talking to Hellion. All of his words were nonsense. You better tell me something interesting," she demanded with a straight face.
Hellion huffed. "What? I've been wasting my saliva talking to you and then that's how you gonna repay me?" He snorted. "How dare you, Alice? I will not talk to you again."
