The car stopped and Matthew opened the door for Knox while Neal quickly helped himself. As soon as he stepped out, the familiar building met his eyes. When he came here for the first time, he didn't really give a damn, but now that he had a meeting with Knox's father, he couldn't ignore that he was feeling a little nervous.
Knox stepped closer to him with a grin across his cheeks. "Shall we?" he partly lifted his elbow, expecting the vampire to hold his arm, but Neal instead just turned his gaze away.
"Just lead the way. I'm going to follow," he said.
Matthew nudged Knox, giving him a mocking expression because he failed to get the vampire on his arm. They walked in and rode the elevator going to the top floor. Well, Knox was still wondering why his old man wanted to talk to Neal.
The chairman even told them to be in his private office. It was only used for VIP matters and making Neal one of those piqued his thoughts about the old man.
