Neal's eyebrows frowned deeply as he looked at the mafia man with a displeased expression. "Why did you push them away?" he asked.
Knox grinned at him, opening the car door as the vampire quickly stepped inside. He closed the door and stepped into the driver's seat, telling Neal to put on his seatbelt.
After that, Knox finally spoke. "Did you take a look at the business card?" he asked.
The vampire took the card out from the pocket of his jacket and looked at it. He read the words that immediately registered to his mind as if it was something familiar and he had read it before.
"Jade Horizon Resort," he mumbled.
Knox turned on the car engine and started driving. "Does it ring a bell?" he asked.
Neal blinked and looked at him. "It was the last place both of the secretaries visited. Mr Chiu's secretaries before they went missing." he replied. A string snapped in his thoughts and he grasped the card.
"Then, does it mean that Bea is in danger too?" he asked.
