The Glowing Truth

"Pant","Pant" ," why is this road taking so long to reach." Said Alistair, while grasping his breath .

He almost tripped and fell down while running ,He was not feeling any strength in his legs to continue , and the road to reach the top of the mountain looked so long that he almost gave up.

"Pant","Can I reach there ?Can I find what I am looking for?" Said he, while looking at the book and the mountain that stood firmly before him ,inviting him to come and find the secrets.

Alistair was basically  a boy didn't believe in any kind of 'Mythology ','religion ' or anything  .To him everything is made by humans for their own benefits.

However, somehow he was desperate today and hence ,he ran towards the mountain because as he was crying in the room he suddenly remembered that day again when Rose told him about a secret of the mountain.

He remembered it and closed his eyes to further made it more clear.

Past moment.

"Rose, but you didn't say why you are here so late at night." Said Alistair, after they ate the chocolate that Rose brought.

"Actually, I am here to search for something." Said Rose while looking at the side turning around.

"A thing! ,here " said Alistair, in a somewhat surprised way.

"Yes,I heard that this mountain is 5000 years old and a cave is located here. That cave only shows 100 years late at full moon night and for four full moon nights. Today is the third year of that full moon night and only one more year is left for it to show up." Said She while looking at her brooch desperately. 

"But , what about the cave?" Alistair asked, even though he never believed in that but it was Rose who was telling this.

"Legend says that the cave has a portal,that portal connects our world to the world of those 'Mythical creatures ' and we can enter there." Said she ,while still clenching her brooch.

"If you talk about legends then there must be some device to enter the portal ,like I saw in the movies." Alistair said ,while bringing his gaze towards the beautiful flower-like brooch that Rose was holding.

"You are right and this brooch is an ancient heirloom, you know and this is the key to enter that world." Said Rose. 

"But why do you want to enter?" Said Alistair,with a confused gaze.

"Don't know ,it's just an urge you know ." Said Rose looking at her brooch.

She looked so happy when she talked about that thing .Alistair could understand that Rose too felt that she didn't belong here but she rather chooses to believe in these things than to cry .

Alistair then thought of protecting her and being the one who can stand beside her.

Alistair opened his eyes and he could feel the determination now.

Present Moment…

(Lower edge of the mountain. )

"I don't know why ,the hell am I doing this but I know I have no other options. " he said ,while climbing up the mountain ,it was the fourth year and the last moon.

It was November, the eleventh month of the year and snow started falling out of nowhere.

"What the hell ,it's yet to be the time for the snow to fall." Said Alistair, when he realised that tiny flakes had fallen on her head and they were making her hairs wet.

This was really unusual ,he stopped at the layer of the mountain which offered a very thin pass and now he couldn't see the road because of the growing gloom of the evening. 

"The snow is falling only on the dark side of the mountain and the rest of the city and the place are dry ." he said,while pausing at the foot step .

He realised now that this was the.

THE SECRET TERRITORY:

On his way, he read the book a bit ,why he read the book he didn't know ? 

He just intuitively read that and it was written there about strange phenomena. 

So,now all these  started making sense and he continued further.

He was in fact injured her leg was swollen from all that running and climbing but still hope kept him moving.

Other side ..

(The Phoenix palace- Mystical world)

"So, how can I get myself out of here?" Said Rose after finding out that everything was not a dream but rather reality that she always hoped for but now that it came to her ,she felt strange.

"Summoning huh!" She thought .

"I have to get out but how." She searched all the corners while being locked up.

She then suddenly found that her brooch was shining and she thought that maybe it could act as a key and open the chains .

She was right, it acted as a key and the chains were broken within no time.

She now found out the brooch also had a sign 'Phoenix symbol.' 

She then just walked out of the bed.

Now the problem was how to open the door ,she couldn't just jump out of the window .

"Yeah, maybe the brooch. " she said and placed the brooch in front of the key hole and as expected the door opened .

She then ran as fast as she could.She crossed the hallway in front of her room which strangely was unguarded .

Suddenly she heard some whisper coming from a corner.She hid herself behind a thumb and proceeded to listen.

She saw two maids walking ,and they were carrying something in their hands .

"You know they are telling  that war is inevitable. " said one of them. 

"Yaa, and now they have also found the right candidate for summoning the warrior." Said the other one.

"Warrior, summon ,that means I would be used as a vessel for some one." Thought Rose as she watched dramas about that.

"No , I have to get out." Said She and saw some girls entering a room and coming out wearing their uniform.

"Yes,this could be my chance, she thought." 

She went  and changed her clothes. She was determined to leave this palace and escape .

Alistair side's trouble...

The mountain side…

" yeah finally I reached here now I just have to find the cave and enter." Said Alistair,and started searching for the cave by turning to all the sides.

Suddenly ,the pattern listed in the book started glowing and he saw some inscriptions glowing on a rock.

Alistair was ready to face something like this, but still he was mesmerised after seeing that scene.

"So,Legends did exist …." Were the only words that uttered out from his mouth ....
