Lost in Fantasy

Ever pondered ,whether mythical beasts exist and where their concept came from then 'know,' that you are not alone because there are people out there who also think just like you who also like to read about those stuffs especially the ones who had wild dreams ,they tend to get lost in these concepts of "Magic", "spirituality ",and "Myths".

"Whoa! I am a mythical creature now.Bow down to me." Said a boy while surprising her friend.

(Holly High School , Class B, year 3.)

" Alistair ! Stop it. You know I am reading , you nearly surely gave me a heart attack. " said that girl.

She looked at the laughing face of her freind and put her book down on her desk.

She was sitting in the corner row ,middle bench ,row -4. The class has four rows and 5 columns.

The class was silent because it was their tiffin break and everybody was either eating their lunch sitting on the ground and basking on the sun Ray's or were playing some games. The junior class students were playing while the senior class students were gossiping amongst themselves.

"Rose , you are reading it for the whole tiffin period. You haven't even eaten and soon theperiod will end." Alistair bent down and looked at Rose's face ,the girl 's face gave a calm expression . Her

eyes long lost in somewhere else wandering in the deep clouds of thoughts.

Her eyes were filled with light and hope but somehow you can see that she is rarely present in her environment, it was like her mind was there in some other place and she doesn't care about what's going on around her surroundings.

She was Concentrated on her book and hardly can focus on other things.

"Rose ! Rose! Look, I told you that you can even get lost even when you are in the midst of a conversation. "said Ethan moving his hands around the girl's face.

"You know that Alistair , then why ask?" Said Rose while she picked up her book.

"Huh ! I know Rose but still at least eat something because I am sure you are reading in an empty stomach." Said, Alistair while sighing ,he took the book from Rose's hand so that her friend would at least stand up and eat .

"Ok , ok , I will eat but at least give back my book." Said Rose while trying to snatch her book but she was too short to reach the hands of Alistair.

She was not able to take it back and she was forced to stand up and eat the food that Alistair bought for her.It was 'sandwich ' with extra cheese, ' chicken breast ' with 'salad' and strawberry milk. It was all Rose's favourite.

Rose would normally give some reaction when she found that everything was her favourite but today was a bit unusual because it felt like she was in deep thought and her spoon was trying to pick up the table instead of the food.

"You know, you are not that strong that you can digest the table.",said Mein while crossing her hand and observing Rose's vain attempt to try to pick the table.

" Huh! Oh , I didn't see that I was not putting the spoon on the chicken. " said Rose while suddenly getting out of her imaginary world and looking at her stupidity.

"Here ,here , little Alice, I am feeding you ." Alistair teased Rose while taking back the spoon from her friend and proceeded to feed her.

Generally, Rose never liked others touching or feeding her but it was her Best freind and she could hardly deny it .

Alistair knew that Rose would not deny him but after taking a bite or two would rather finish the food and this was her tactic to make her freind to eat otherwise Rose will surely die of hunger .

As expected After one bite , Rose took the spoon and started eating properly.

Mein looked at her and wondered how she survived when she barely eats.

" Look, I am eating, now satisfied ." Said Rose while finishing her sandwich and looking at Alistair with puppy eyes because she wanted her 'lost treasure', back from Alistair.

Alistair knew this look , he knew that Rose wanted her lost mystical book 'treasure ' back .

he didn't want to give it back because Rose will again be lost in that . She wanted Rose to go out and play with her so she can get some fresh air but she knew that Rose would never agree and he had no option but to give it back.

"Ok! Here you go but tell me aren't you old enough to believe those."said Alistair while returning back Rose's book and waiting for Rose's reply.

"No , I believe they exist because you know if they didn't exist, these myths will never arise."Said Rose while looking at her book and a sudden spark ignited in her eyes.

'I see , then I would go back. I have a game . Take care of yourself. ",said Alistair ,he never tried to argue with Rose because there was something about this dreamy girl which demand of Alistair to believe whatever she said to him and Alistair liked it when a sudden spark

ignited in her eyes because of her fantasy world.

Alistair smiled and stood up to go , he stopped after going a few steps within room she looked back once. He saw a frail and thin girl with light green pupils, a small nose , pinkish thin lips reading and getting lost in her own world.

"Rose, don't worry. You can do whatever you want to and I will support you." Alistair thought as he turned his head and finally walked out.

"Mythology ,people say that once this existed and that'swhere the concept came from." thought Rose as she turned the pages.

Why I don't know but i feel a strange connection to you." She thought as she gently caressed the picture of a Phoenix that was sitting gently in a tree but with a majestic look.

"I know that you exist and that you are not a monster. ", Rose ,thought to herself and a smile escaped her face.

"Yo ! Isn't this our fantasy queen?" Said a girl who entered the class followed by some other girls.

One could easily detect that they were bullies and bully other students. Rose was no exception but somewhat she was more rude to Rose .

Rose knew this but she had hardly

any time to answer them or even look at them .She had much more important work she needed to learn more about her 'Mythical creature. '

This made that girl more angry. She gritted her teeth and moved towards Rose faster .

"You little chick ! You dare to ignore me ." Said she while pulling Rose's collar.

"Hands off !" Said Rose with a cold stern stare in her eyes , gazing at that girl with a murderous look.

Usually she would just make fun of her and dare not to do anything as Alistair was there and everyone in the school knew that he is a strong fighter and dared not to approach Rose.

Today was different because Alistair was not present and something made the bully more angry . Her subordinates came to her and asked her to leave her alone because they knew they might end up in hospital if they messed up with Rose.

"You can go if you want . Today I will teach her a lesson ."said She while not releasing Rose's collar .

"Hands off! I am telling you the last time." Said Rose while standing up from her chair.

"You dare to talk back." Shouted she while pulling a punch to beat Rose's face.

Suddenly a loud sound was here

"dishhhh." And somebody fell down on the floor.

Everybody thought it must be Rose who was bitten up and fell down. Secretly the others were also laughing because they

knew if anything happens to Rose they could shift the responsibility to the leader's and can say that have nothing to do.

"Leader wake up please .Leader" said one of them while kneeling down to wake that girl up.

It was now clear that the one who fell down was not Rose but her bully and Rose was stretching her arm . What just happened?

Everyone just looked at each other.

It was out of their thinking capacity that a frail girl can knock someone out while punching once.

Rose was standing at her place and one could see the aura she was exhibiting.
