"Now,who are you?" Said the priest ,this time the pressure not only grew intense but it surrounded the area where Alistair was standing. 

"Your honour I am a humble maid and I can assure you that she is no threat nor is she a foreigner. " said Alistair,his eyes were still shining and the shine that his eyes displayed is not of fire but that of a more bluish aura.

"What the hell is happening here?" Said a noble rising up from his seat ,he wore a suit of orange colour covered in a long waistcoat made of some kind of fur and long boots with a long saul hanging from his left shoulder. 

It was clear from the way he looked and his audacity to stand up when the high command itself was  talking that he was from quite a high rank.

"General ,I am innocent, she is an imposter." Said that girl kneeling down .From the way she spoke it was clear that she was desperate to prove herself innocent.

However, the most surprising as well as interesting fact was that The king was still sitting down and just viewed the whole commotion as a mere spectator without any response.

The more time passed the more people became confused and the more intense became their whisper ,some were willing to believe that Rose was not any imposter because of her knowledge in dance.

Still ,they too were doubtful because of the tense situation that now prevailed and it was hard to believe a stranger, some just sat and looked at the show without giving any opinion and some were hostile towards both the girls.

"All of you , silence! " Said the High priest, he was now totally agitated and his fire symbol popped up on his forehead,his eyes showing the eruption of volcanic lava .He continued,"How can you prove that you are chosen by His Majesty."

"Your Honour , I am not a dancer but I am a mage for Phoenix Palace and I am the chosen one. " said Rose,standing with her head high and without blinking at all her face showed no signs or emotions making everyone believe her words frolic her body language.

This time the priest looked at the King who was now almost smirking but still without any response.

Rose tilted her pupils slightly and saw the king ,she proceeded before the priest or the General could ask any further question. 

"Your Honour ,here is the bracelet ,see it has the symbol and it is the prove. " said Rose,opening her bracelet from her slender  white hand and holding it high up to show the symbol.

The Priest now dragged the bracelet from her hand ,the bracelet flew away and  it was dragged towards the ceremonial platform .Finally, the bracelet was placed in between the stage .

Now was the time for the exam and the trial ,lie and truth ,life and death.This was the time gamble she took and sweat started dripping from her forehead,hands clenched and everything stopped .

Alistair was also worried and for the first time he felt like he couldn't help Rose,he couldn't stand beside her and threaten them to leave her alone. 

He was feeling the worst .The bracelet now displayed the same fire symbol and it also now displayed a protective barrier. As soon as the Priest tried to force open the bracelet the barrier was cast off and the spell failed.

This scene made all the people present there starting from the mere servants to the high novels astounded .They started talking amongst themselves again .

The bracelet then slowly cooled off and returned to Rose who catched it and wore it.

"Your honour ,I guess now you can believe ." Said Rose as she smirked.

Then she turned towards the king and with a pleasant smile spoke,"your Majesty , do you now believe that I am the chosen mage."

His Majesty smiled ,the priest and the General were still astounded about all the things that happened and they too looked at His Majesty. 

"Yes ,miss mage .Now I believe. " said The king ,Finally standing up .His face clearly showed a sign of strange fulfilment and his eyes fixated on Rose.

"Your Majesty ,what is  happening?" enquired the high priest from His Majesty, his lips twisted,his eyebrows widened with a confused frown and his eyes narrowed down.

"Yes  Your Majesty, we want answers." Said the General ,he looked at the king without much respect.

Simultaneously, some more nobles also rose up and closing both their hands demanded an answer from him.

"My dear subjects and respected high priest, She is our designated mage and I saw a dream from our Goddess made a prophecy of her arrival. " said He in a stern manner.

He stopped speaking and took a quick glance at all the listeners and continued, "The prophecy made clear that a divine lady would arrive and this thing was known to our high priest also but I didn't know that she would arrive like that." 

More or less now all the people were convinced except the high command .

"Your Majesty How can you be sure that she is the one? We cannot believe her on a single proof." Said the high priest questioning Her existence again.

"That she would prove by her power ." Said The king now becoming somewhat serious. 

"Miss mage can you prove us of your power. " He finished his stance while looking at her cunningly. 

Rose was now in a tight spot ,if she refused she might lose her life but if she accepted then it would again cause her life. 

After thinking for a while she responded ,"I accept it but as I Travel from a far away place, I would like all of you to give me 5 days to reactivate my power."

All the people dared not speak and only stared blankly. His Majesty smiled and nodded his head,the priest and the General with other courtiers were displeased but they couldn't disagree.

"What about her?" Said the General looking at Alistair ,for a moment they forgot hil but now they were back to their senses.

"She is with me." Said A familiar voice, and everyone looked in that direction from where that voice came.

A female figure was standing there and looking at her they greeted her as

"Greetings Princess." 

Alistair was surprised to find out that the female was none other than the knight who helped him….
