Alex smiled: "My skills were inferior to theirs, so I deserved to be beaten."
His words set off a wave of agitation, even the normally gentle Sif slowly drew her sword, preparing to confront this Earthling for insulting the prince.
Alex stood up and said: "It seems we can't avoid a fight."
Thor laughed and said: "Hey, Alex, I don't have my divine power, so I can't take revenge for now. But if they beat you, it will be as if I beat you myself, haha..."
Knowing his father was not dead, Thor was in a great mood, and his playful nature resurfaced.
Alex shrugged: "Then if I hit them, it will be the same as hitting you?"
Hogun, with his short temper, immediately pulled out his mace and prepared to strike.
Thor intervened: "Let's go outside the town. We don't want to destroy people's homes."
Though they weren't at Thor's level, they were still Asgardians. A fight in the town center would likely cause immense destruction.
They moved to the outskirts of the desert.
Hogun charged first, swinging his mace: "Let me teach you a lesson."
With a soft "pop," Alex caught the mace in his grip, immobilizing it.
The mace's spikes, capable of piercing steel, couldn't even scratch Alex's skin.
"Come on, all of you. Don't waste time."
Seeing this, Sif and the others realized Alex was no ordinary man. They drew their weapons and surrounded him.
Sif's sword was the most agile, aiming for the front.
Hogun with his mace, and Fandral with his twin swords, flanked him.
Volstagg, wielding a large axe, approached from behind.
In an instant, they formed an optimal attack formation.
Alex nodded approvingly. They were indeed the elite warriors under Thor, capable of taking on Frost Giants.
But that's what made it interesting!
Alex dodged the attacks from the sides and back, launching a punch at Sif.
Sif blocked with her sword, holding it steady with both hands.
Alex felt his punch absorbed and redirected by the sword. With a "bang," the sword rebounded, and Sif slid back, dissipating the force.
The Asgardian warriors were not simple foes. Their tactics were flexible and efficient, much better than the opponents Alex had faced before.
Fandral, Hogun, and Volstagg attacked from behind, their weapons aiming at Alex.
Alex caught Volstagg's axe between two fingers, causing Volstagg's eyes to widen in disbelief.
The meteor hammer from Fandral struck, and Alex dodged it, flicking Volstagg's axe into Hogun's mace.
With a loud clang, the axe flew away, and Hogun's hand went numb.
In just a few moves, Alex had disarmed them, and their attack faltered.
Hogun admitted: "No wonder you could give Thor two black eyes. With such strength, you've earned your arrogance."
Thor rolled his eyes at Hogun's remark.
Sif retrieved her weapon and reformed the circle.
They no longer underestimated Alex.
A flame ignited on Sif's sword, flowing like a living thing along the blade.
Fandral, Hogun, and Volstagg's weapons also glowed with divine energy.
"Ah!" Sif cried, thrusting her flaming sword at Alex.
Before the sword reached him, Alex felt the heat, and his chest burned.
"Hahahaha, alright!" Alex laughed. "This is the battle I want."
Before this, the battles Alex encountered were all physical. Now, he faced divine power, spells, and magic.
Today, he would see the peculiarities of these attacks.
Alex tried to grab Sif's sword between his fingers.
But Sif didn't retreat. She swung her sword straight down, breaking through Alex's defenses.
A crack extended from his fingers to his wrist. His rapid healing ability kicked in, closing the wound quickly.
The four warriors didn't wait for Alex to recover. They attacked again.
Alex didn't rush to end the fight. He carefully analyzed their attacks, feeling the unique nature of divine power.
Sif and the others used roaming tactics, avoiding direct strength clashes with Alex.
But Alex's power couldn't be easily dismissed. One punch could send them sliding hundreds of meters.
Yellow dust filled the air for a kilometer around, and loud noises echoed as they fought.
It was a spectacular sight, akin to thousands fighting.
Fortunately, the battle wasn't in the town center, sparing it from destruction.
However, it was hard for one to fight four. Over time, Alex accumulated more wounds.
Seeing this, Thor shouted: "Friends, don't kill him. He's my friend on Earth."
Alex smiled: "Thor, it's not certain who will show mercy."
With that, he vanished.
Alex's unique skill – supersonic extreme attack!
A technique he learned, making full use of his strength and abnormal physique.
Unless his opponent could react at supersonic speed, they would be hit.
First, he targeted Fandral with the meteor hammer.
Grabbing one hammer, he tied Fandral with the chain.
The meteor hammer's unpredictable trajectory made it a priority to neutralize.
Even with divine power, the spikes of the meteor hammer only left shallow wounds on Alex.
As Sif shouted: "Form up!"
The remaining three quickly moved back-to-back, forming a defensive formation.
Alex tested their defense. Any attack direction would be met by the front person, with the others ready to respond.
Their formation left no gaps unless overwhelmed by sheer force.
But their divine-powered weapons scorched his skin on contact.
If the Hulk encountered them, he might be hunted unless he used his unique move.
"Hulk Smash!"
