Tadashi Jin sat on the edge of the bed in his new house, feeling the raw energy coursing through him. He had a home, money, a vastly improved body, and a mysterious chat group interface that had just welcomed him.
"Alright," he muttered to himself, standing up and stretching. "Time to see what I can do."
A simple thought brought up the chat group interface again, the translucent screen flickering in the air before him. His eyes skimmed the first message:

But there was something else he was curious about. He tapped on the Admin Panel and scrolled through the options, stopping at one labeled Power Level. Intrigued, he selected it. The system generated a detailed report of his current cultivation progress, power level, and abilities.

Tadashi smirked as he looked over his stats. He was already at the peak of the Body Refining Stage, meaning he had surpassed normal humans and was ready to step into the supernatural world. "Still early, but a good start," he muttered. "Once I break through to Qi Gathering, I'll be in the same league as mid-level devils. And that's just the beginning."
Closing the stats screen, he focused on exploring his abilities further. Sitting cross-legged in the middle of the room, he closed his eyes and concentrated.
Qi flowed through him, powerful and overwhelming, but not uncontrollable. In his old world, cultivation had always been a fantasy—a distant idea he'd read about in novels and watched in anime. But now? It was his reality.

"Not normal," he whispered, opening his eyes.

Tadashi stood and decided to explore his new surroundings. The house ROB had set up for him was impressive—spacious, modern, and luxurious, with large windows letting in sunlight. He found the kitchen already stocked, and the living room filled with high-end furniture.
"Guess I won't have to worry about anything basic," he said, grabbing a snack and heading outside.
Kuoh Town was peaceful.
Walking through the streets, Tadashi couldn't help but marvel at how normal everything seemed. High School DxD had always presented Kuoh as a quiet town hiding a world of devils, angels, and fallen angels underneath the surface. He smiled to himself, knowing that things were anything but ordinary here.
His first goal? To attend Kuoh Academy. He already knew that the school was the center of many supernatural activities, and it was where he would cross paths with characters like Rias Gremory and Issei Hyoudou.
Tadashi's expression darkened at the thought of Issei. The idea of him becoming the "Harem King" was laughable—he didn't have the brains or the focus to deserve it. Tadashi wasn't going to play second fiddle to a fool like him. One day, he'd take him down—but not yet. There was plenty of time to make his move, and he needed to grow much stronger first.
As he walked down the street, a soft breeze carried with it the faintest hint of power. He stopped and closed his eyes, sensing something in the air—a surge of energy, subtle but unmistakable. He turned his head towards Kuoh Academy.
"Looks like the fun's about to start," Tadashi said, a grin tugging at the corner of his lips.

He raised an eyebrow, intrigued. He tapped the message, and the details appeared on the screen.

Tadashi's heart raced. His first major task, involved traveling to another dimension. Not only was the reward an advanced technique that would massively boost his power, but he would also gain three new members in the chat group, potentially powerful allies from other worlds. This was exactly what he needed to get ahead. If the technique was as powerful as it sounded, it could give him a huge advantage in his cultivation path.
"Perfect," he whispered. "Looks like things are moving faster than I thought."
He accepted the task, the interface confirming his selection. The screen flickered, and a portal shimmered into existence in the corner of the room, swirling with light.
Tadashi stepped closer, feeling the pull of energy from the other side. Without hesitation, he stepped through the portal and vanished.
