He was granted remarkable powers which may have seemed weak at first, but if used and trained properly, could be honed and strengthened to become extremely powerful. Vincent realized that this was an opportunity for him to have a life where he wasn't under anyone's control and could make his own choices. To be able to do this, he had to become the most powerful being in the realms, as there were those who wanted to take away his freedom and those who were jealous of him or wanted to take advantage of his unique talents. He had no control over the situation and was forever known as a 'Fallen Hero', hunted relentlessly for years afterwards. Eventually he realized that he had come to the end of his journey, as his last friend had abandoned him and all his motivation to carry on was gone, as there was no longer any expectation of a positive outcome in the future. He died in a sorrowful manner, but while he was taking his last breaths, he had wished to start in a different world, a place where he could begin again and make his own decisions, no longer reliant upon anyone else's opinions or advice. Unbeknownst to him, his power grew exponentially as his probability manipulation yielded a maximum output, increasing the odds so much that it was impossible for the world to ignore it. His probability manipulation expended all its power trying to complete this task, diminishing his power and reverting it back to the level it was when he initially gained his ability. He was suddenly transported to an unfamiliar world, and he made a promise to himself to live by his own rules and never repeat the mistakes he made in his old life.
