Kinda disjointed and janky, plus it stops entirely at what seems like the end of part one. However, the female lead is fantastic, and we spend a lot of time getting invested in her progress. If you can be satisfied with half a story, it's worth a read!

Two points off for cutting off the story with no ending, but I enjoyed it so much up to that point that I'm not even that mad. I can imagine that (names withheld) X challenges Y and is defeated, Z reunites with A and discovers that he's really B, Y gets promoted and marries C... The trajectories are clear enough that I feel like I've been given the whole story. If you can tolerate a lack of ending, go for it!

A wonderful exploration of the complexities of life, love, and medical ethics. The romances and the medicine are complimentary, neither one overwhelming the other. The ending is well-paced and satisfying.

A different kind of power fantasy. Chen Cang is a likeable and relatable protagonist, even though his abilities are superhuman. Abrupt (but positive) ending. If surgery grosses you out, give this one a miss, but otherwise I recommend it!

Short, sweet, adorable. The protagonists go through all the traditional "missed connections" and heartbreak fairly efficiently (you'll go "JUST TELL HIM" about 12 times, as opposed to the usual 256). Also (controversial opinion?) I don't think 5 years is a "huge" age gap. Anyway, it has my blessing.

ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE. I smiled, I teared up, I had Several Emotions At Once... This one touches on some serious topics, like equality between partners and people with past trauma navigating the difficulties of normal relationships. There are just enough characters that you can keep track of them all, and they're all distinct enough that you won't mix them up. The art is clean and beautiful. I highly recommend it!

This one is SO GOOD OMG. There's a lot of silliness, a lot of entertainment industry woes, and a lot of trauma that has to be slowly unraveled and properly healed. I definitely recommend it. (Warning: explicit but non-graphic rape near the end.)

This one has some dubcon and outright rape, as well as possible statutory rape (not 100% clear), so be warned. It ends well for the good characters, and the journey there is interesting. I quite like the female lead.

This is wonderfully silly and fun, and also very touching, and also also HILARIOUS. I laughed a lot. I definitely teared up a little. I adore the meta-ness of the story, the little comments and subtle fourth wall breaks. Plus it ends gracefully and happily! Definitely worth reading.

ENDS ABRUPTLY but otherwise completely delightful. The main character is clever and upbeat, the main love-interest is strong and respectful, the supporting characters are reasonably distinct and often entertaining, and the story is interesting. I'm not deducting points for incompleteness because the main character has one other major advantage in gaining my favor, but I won't spoil it for you~

It's silly, it's weird, it's heart-wrenching when you least expect it... There's some gore (late in the game) and one instance of attempted assault, so watch out if that's not for you, but overall it's a really good read.

I devoured this book in one afternoon. The female lead is clever and ruthless, the male lead is actually NICE and isn't constantly intimidating or embarrassing her, and the supporting cast are interesting and unique enough that you're not constantly going "who's that character again??" The ending is a little abrupt (there are a couple of unresolved plot threads) but I'm glad it didn't drag out the story with meaningless tropes.

This story is way too long and all over the place. It hits every tired trope in the genre, then goes around borrowing tired tropes from OTHER genres. I spent a lot of time yelling at the male lead because he never EVER learns from his mistakes (another staple of the genre). All that said: it's beautifully drawn, the female lead is a brainy badass, and I would read 500 tropes and I would read 500 more just to see that Sue got past those 1000 tropes and won forevermore. 😁

Short, intense, with a huge emotional range. If surgery/blood is an issue for you, stay away! The ending is weird but fitting. I had SO MANY EMOTIONS during this, which is why this review is such a mess. Honestly, it's great.
