Not exactly. A time power could for sure make things grow faster, but fast grow ins not necessarily something tied to time, but just to biological aspects. In Erik's case it is kind of the latter. It's like he pumps mana into the plant making it grow faster and better. Even the fruits that come from his trees are juicier.

It doesn't have hasirama's same abilities. He can only grow stuff faster during the initial chapters.

There is an explanation in the book, on if it is that ranged powers are rare, and conventional weapons do not work on monsters. As for Erik, he wants to become stronger, and that needs him to conquer his fears, know how to evade and many other things. If he simply throws trees, the point of learning would kinda disappear.

The chapters from ch 75 to 123 were slowed down on purpose. I did that asking you guys to give me feedback about the slow part. Some said they liked it slow, but it was slow even for me. From chapter 123 the pacing is almost the same as the first volume, it is slightly slower simply because the arc itself is longer. The current Arc I'm writing is right now at 60 chapters, with a sub arc of around 30-35 chapters. Regardless, let me know from chapter 124 how you think things are. especially the arc from chapter 156. Have a nice day.
