or, he could switch a sword for a pair of Sharingan - can also cast illusions, and already come with a set of recommended restrictions, as well as growth, and there is even a potential for an 'ultimate' with a greatly increased price (gradual loss of sight, proportional to the total duration of use, as though the eyes have a durability bar attached). could also attach the enhancer-type ability of accelerated perception to those eyes, improving the further the ability grows. restrictions could include the need to make a minimum of 10 edgy AF statements before the eyes can be activated, and so on. with the right kind of sacrifice, he could even allow this ability to pass down to his offspring.

I meant the armored cavalry, who I expected to get beheaded by Dothraki swordsmen in mass (due to the OG Author's track record of the unreasonable happening over and over again, including a Dothraki blocking a sword stab with his elbow - pretty sure that would have made an owie, unless dude was in full plate) until the dragon showed up. people dying to dragon fire regardless of armour seems reasonable, after all. For the footmen, you might be onto something here, as it would be too expensive to armor all levies in plate. For levies, there is this nifty trick called ducking that was recently invented. should work against a rider on high ground. I'd say at most half would freeze in their tracks and promptly die, other half could crouch, then stab a passing horse in the rear end, make it throw off the rider by reflex/instinct (the reflex/instinct telling them the predator who just bit them is now on their back, overriding any training), and as a result, the raider, now disoriented, would get gang-r--ed by all the levies, especially if it is a squishy Dothraki.
