You should probably stick to one form of showing dialogue. (Person: “example.”) isn’t really a good way to show dialogue, it kinda breaks your attention of the story because it sounds like your reading from a script/play. Stick to just using “” to signify when a person is talking like you are doing with the mc. Having both of those in there is really distracting.
