You know for…research…
Politics and power struggles. These people live that way and if you can’t control something, that makes them dangerous in their minds
That I can agree with. Her and Yurial helped him begin to want to trust people/humans before any other humans did. Except maybe Nana. Beasts and Divine Beasts had a bigger impact on him before them.
I can understand that view, but I do think enough was shown from her own viewpoint to understand how she saw their relationship. She was passive aggressive in every instance after breakup that Lith selfishly saved her, when they met again at the gala, and even after he awakened her to again save her life. My point is that she was not so great a friend or lover as she is often remembered. It took Thurd making her a slave to appreciate all that Lith did for her.
Married Readers: That’s how women work…
It isn’t coddling anyone’s ego to claim that Phloria was a better match to Lith than Kami just because she was from a well known lineage. That is just you being a judgmental prick and passing it off as being brutally honest. Makes it all the more ironic a few paragraphs latter when Juria called you and Lochra out on your real personality and you didn’t like it any.
No she wasn’t. And Ripha should have been much more aware since she saw everything and knew about Lith’s intentions. I’m calling BS on this whole section just like when Phloria got sacrificed. It’s the Kennedy Effect, Kennedy would have been a remembered as a mediocre president at best if he had lived, but because he was assassinated we compare his presidency to Camelot. If Phloria hadn’t died the way she did, she would have still been the little wannabe princess she was the whole time. This is a disservice to Kami and Lith’s relationship which is and was much healthier.
Unpopular opinion incoming, but Phloria wasn’t good for him. Phloria was always passive aggressive and quicker to judge and call out Lith than people seem to remember only because for some reason they don’t like Kami. Kami was the adult and reasonable person who accepted Lith for who he was inside. Need we remember that Phloria rejected him for it initially? He had to save her life like twice for that to change. People shipped them for some reason and over looked the spoiled way she acted. The only time Kami was that way was that whole thing about the Solus reveal which I still think went against her established internal character and was more for drama than anything. But I imagine a woman would have a tough time with that situation being hidden
Sauce ma dude?
This is reason. Let’s not forget her past husband and the abuse he gave her. Vastor has erased much of that with his actions, but that is a hard long recovery from that kind of abuse. It’s what makes the Yehval sister so well written to me. This is how real people react to this stuff.
