Inception Part 2

At Sarah's house Jack, Endless and Henry came back with a chicken while Lily looked at them in disbelief.

Lily: "Um, where are you guys going with that?"

Jack: "What do you mean, you wanted a chicken, right?"

Lily: "Yes, but that chicken is alive, didn't you guys meet my mother at the house?"

Endless: "No, so we got one from the barn."

Lily: "We can't use that chicken".

Henry: "It's still a chicken, so what's wrong?"

Lily: "Are you going to kill, pluck and clean it, Henry?".

Henry: "It can't be that hard, right?"

Henry looked at Jack.

Jack: "I don't know."

Endless: "Where will we get the meat?".

Lily: "Maybe we have to make something else?"

Sogetsu walked into the room with a large knife that looked like a machete, and everyone looked at him. The chicken saw it and started screaming.

Sogetsu: "What's with the chicken?"

Lily took the chicken from the boys and put it outside where it ran away.

Lily: "And what are you doing with a machete?"

Sogetsu: "It's a knife, actually that's what you wanted?"

Lily took a deep breath.

Lily: "We don't need such a big knife. We are just cutting up small ingredients, Sogetsu. Does your mother have a recipe book?"

Sogetsu: "Yeah, I think so."

Lily: "Go get it, please."

Endless ran off to get the recipe book and they started reading it.

Henry: "Let's cook that one?"

Lily: "Which one?"

Henry: "El pepi vale-"

Lily: "It's El pepi vlandora Pollo and we don't have any chicken to make that."

Henry: "We did until you let it go."

Lily rolled her eyes.

Jake: What the hell does that even mean?.

Endless: "What about Tropical Soup?"

Lily looked at the recipe.

Lily: "We can cook it, but we don't have any Topia leaf."

Sogetsu: "Can we cook it without it?"

Lily: "No you can't,it is a very important ingredient?".

Jack: "How does it look?"

Lily: "It has blue and golden petals-."

Jack: "and a nice perfume smell?"

Lily: "Yeah, how do you know?"

Jack: "I know where we can find some."

Endless: "Ok let's go get it then!".

Lily held onto Endless' hand.

Lily: "I need someone here with me. Sogetsu and Henry go with Jack."

Jack: "I'm going to need everyone Lily except you, of course."

Lily: Upset, "What!? why can't someone stay with me?"

Jack: "Because I need the guys to get it.".

Lily bit her lips.

Lily: "Fine, don't take forever."

They all left, and Lily had a sad face while she looked at the recipe.

Lily: Where can I find the carrots?

The boys were running behind Jack.

Henry: "where are we going?"

Jack: "Bloomlake forest."

Henry: "Are you serious?"

Jack: "Yeah"

Sogetsu: "What's the plan?"

Jack: "Ahh, we can figure it out on the way."

Endless: "That's why you didn't want Lily to come?".

Jake: "Yeah, she is going to ruin the fun. Oh, guys, don't go there, guys don't do that blah blah blah."

Henry: "Nag, Nag, Nag, that's what she does, like my mom."

Endless: "She's not like that, she cares about us."

Sogetsu: "Gotta be careful of what you say, guys. Her WhiteKnight is around."

Jack: "Oh my God, how could I forget? I apologize for talking about Queen Lily, in such a manner,"

Henry: "Please spare our lives Mr. WhiteKnight,"

They began laughing.

Endless: "If that's how you feel, say that to her face,"

Jack: "We are ok we're not stupid,"

Sogetsu: "anyway, How are we going to enter without getting caught? "

Henry: "Leave that to me."

At the entrance of the Bloom Lake forest there were walls fifteen feet high with small holes inside them surrounding the entrance, and in the middle was a steel gate with a lock. On the wall there are signs that said "Danger does not enter" and animal patterns.

There is a small guard post where an old man is sitting inside reading a newspaper and looking around the area from time to time.

Henry walked towards the guard post.

Henry: "Hey Mr. Graham, how are you?".

Mr. Graham looked up with his narrowed eyes.

Mr. Graham: "What's your problem, kid? Don't you see I'm busy?".

Henry: "Aren't you supposed to be looking out for anyone trying to enter the forest instead of reading the newspaper?"

Mr. Graham: "What do you want, twerp? before I get rid of you."

Henry: "Well I thought you might find these interesting,"

Henry gave him ten magazines with beautiful hot chicks in bikinis. Mr. Graham had a small smirk on his face.

Mr. Graham: "Hmmm.. what do you have here?."

While Mr. Graham immerse himself in the magazine, Henry raised his hands In the air and put his thumbs up.

Jack, Endless and Sogetsu began running towards the wall.

Jack: Quietly, "We need to climb the wall fast."

Endless and Sogetsu: "Why climb? when we can jump,"

Endless and Sogetsu dashed off, leaving Jack behind and did a huge jump over the fifteen-foot wall, which left Jack in shock.

Jack: Show offs.

Jack climbed up the wall while Henry was looking at him. Mr Garharm looked up.

Mr.Graham: "What are you looking at?"

Henry: nervous, "Oh it's Nothing, just a mouse."

Mr. Graham looked where Henry was looking.

Mr. Graham: "That's normal".

Sogetsu caught Jack, who fell over the wall.

Sogetsu: "Took you long enough. I thought you got caught."

Jack: "I'm not as physically gifted as you guys,".

They began making their way into the forest.

Sogetsu: "Jack, are you sure the Topia leaf is here?"

Jack: "My dad used to carry me when I was little and he usually pick a couple of them for my mom,"

Endless: "Was that before people could not come here?"

Jack: "No"

Sogetsu: "So how did you pass Mr. Garharm?"

Jack: "My dad showed him a badge and he let us threw."

Endless: "Your dad must be special or something that he can come in with no issue,".

Jack: smirk, "As I said, my dad is awesome."

The boys crossed a river where they notice a deer drinking water, watched an army of ants moving a dead rat, the birds in the sky searching for food and a gentle wind passing through the forest. They came across some rabbits and one of them got eaten by a snake.

Evening

Jack, Henry and Endless came upon a bridge cross but it was destroyed and at the bottom was water flowing downwards through the stream.

Sogetsu: "We should turn back at,it's getting late,"

Jack: "I'm sure it's here. We just need to pass the bridge."

Endless: "it's broken, and you said that already,"

Jack: "Trust me this time. I'm sure it's across the bridge."

Sogetsu climbed a tree near him and went to the Top, where he could view the other side of the bridge.

Jack: "What are you doing? You can't possibly see anything on the other side from that height."

Sogetsu: "I can"

Sogetsu saw a field of Topia leaves in the distance.

Sogetsu: "I found it!"

Jack:"Really!?"

Sogetsu: "Yeah, but we need to cross first."

Endless: "I could try to jump,".

Jack: "Are you crazy!? that's like thirty feet away, you wouldn't make it."

Endless: "I can at least try."

Sogetsu fell down from the tree.

Sogetsu: "He's right, we need to think of something else,"

Back at Sarah's house in the evening.

Sarah was waving goodbye to miss Jackie and Jacob as she entered her house.

Miss Jackie: "She is still smiling and acting like everything is ok."

Jacob: "What else do you want her to do? Freaking out won't change the outcome. All we can do is cherish the time we have with her."

Miss Jackie: "I suppose."

Eye water started to flow from Miss Jackie's eye.

Miss Jackie: "It's frustrating to see the same event happen, but you can't do anything to change the outcome."

Jacob put her hands around his mother's shoulder.

Jacob: "I feel the same too mom but if the doctors can't help her, who can?."

Inside the house, Sarah was calling her Boys.

Sarah: "Guess who's back!?".

Lily came out of the kitchen and went to Sarah.

Lily: "Welcome back Miss Sarah, umm, they are not here at the moment they went out."

Sarah: "Where?"

Lily: "Endless wanted to make Tropical Soup for you so they went out to get the leaf while I stayed back and gathered the other ingredients."

Sarah: "Ok, while we wait, do you need any help?".

Lily: "Yes please, I can't seem to find some of the ingredients."

Sarah: "What's missing?"

Lily: "I can't seem to find the-."

Back at the forest

The boys created a thick long rope out of vines.

Endless: "This should be long enough."

Sogetsu tied the rope around his waist.

Jack: "Are you guys sure about this?".

Sogetsu: "Not really, but in theory it should work."

Jack:"You are aware if you fail, you're dead, right?"

Sogetsu: "Wish me luck then."

Endless: "Enough talking, let's get this over with."

Sogetsu: "Don't hold back,"

Endless: "I wasn't planning to,"

Endless grasped the vine and started spinning around in a circle and lifted Sogetsu off the ground in mid-air. Endless swung him towards the other side and let the rope go and he landed on his feet safely.

Endless clenched his fist in excitement.

Jack: It worked!

Sogetsu: "Be back!"

Sogetsu took off. While traversing deeper In the forest he saw hole marks in the trees and very few animals.

He finally came upon a tiny field full of Topia leaves and a large cave behind it.

Sogestu smiled while he started picking the leaves.

Sogetsu: 10 should be enough, right?

He suddenly stepped on something and looked down. He realized it was a skull of an animal and took it up.

Sogetsu: Why is this here?.

He looked around his surroundings, checking to see anything unusual. He walked a little further towards the cave, then he smelled an unpleasant stench and covered his nose.

Sogetsu: "Ugh, what's that smell?"

He followed the scent that led him out of the field and he came upon the body of a grizzly bear covered in flies. It had a hole in its belly; head was nowhere to be found.

Sogestu's eyes widened as he took a small step back. He recognizes large animal footprints leading towards the cave. As he stared into the pitch black cave, it sent chills down his spine as his instincts were telling him to run away and he finally did when he glimpsed scarlet eyes staring back at him.

Back at the front gate of Bloom Lake forest, Henry and Mr. Garharm were still talking.

Mr.Graham: "In my days we had to do things the old traditional way,we didn't have the magazine, TV or whatever you kid use nowadays to pick up chicks,"

Henry: uncomfortable, "Really?"

Mr. Graham: boasting, "I used to go by the name The gentleman,if you know what I mean."

As Henry was about to respond, then the boys came.

Jack: "So, this is where you were?"

Henry: surprise, "Hey guys what's going on?"

Sogetsu: "Just looking for you. We are heading back home. Are you coming?".

Henry: "Sure"

Henry said goodbye to Mr. Graham while he scratched his head.

Mr.Graham: That's weird. Those boys came out of nowhere.

Back at Sarah's house, Lily and Sarah were talking.

Sarah: "I never wore makeup before,"

Lily: "You should try it. It will definitely enhance your beauty."

Sarah: "Well, I'm satisfied with my appearance. I don't have the time to try all this new stuff."

Lily: "What! your still young Miss Sarah, You have all the time in the world."

Sarah: slight smile, "I wish I had more time."

Lily: "Of course you do. What are you saying?"

Lily and Sarah heard the boys as they entered the house.

Jack: "We are back!".

They walked into the kitchen and saw Lily and Sarah.

Endless: "Mom, you're back!".

Sarah: "Yes, baby,"

Jake and Henry: "Good evening Miss Sarah!"

Sarah: "Evening boys."

Sogestu gave Lily the flowers.

Lily: "Where did you guys find this much?"

Henry: "From a friend."

Sarah: "So your friend went to the forest?"

Jake: "Ummm… yeah I know someone who can enter it."

Sarah: "Well, I heard from Mr. Garharm that no one couldn't enter unless he wasn't telling me the truth?"

Lily: "You guys went there, didn't you?"

Sogetsu sighed, "Yeah we did"

Lily: angry "What were you guys thinking!?"

Henry: "It was Jake's idea,"

Jake: "Come on man!you didn't have to say that."

Sarah: "Well, I have to tell your parents about this."

Henry: My mother is going to kill me!

Sarah: "Or I could keep it a secret."

Jake: "Yes,please we will do anything."

Henry: "like anything,"

Sarah looked at her boys, who looked away.

Sarah: "OK, but you guys have to promise me you won't go there again. Who knows what could have happened."

Henry and Jake: "Sorry."

Endless and Sogetsu shook their heads in agreement.

Sarah: " Let's give them space, Lily."

Lily: "Are you sure we should leave them alone to cook? I mean, they aren't good,"

Sarah: "Well, if the soup isn't good, I guess I have to pay a visit to their parents."

Henry: "But you just said you wouldn't-."

Sarah: "I can't make you get off that easy."

They left the kitchen.

Jake: "Ok guys, I will be taking the lead. My cooking skills are probably the best here."

Endless: "have you ever cooked soup before?".

Jake: "No, but there's a first time for everything, right?"

Henry: "That's the problem. Our first time needs to be good."

Sogetsu was standing with the recipe book in his hands.

Sogetsu: "We can just follow the instructions in the book."

They gathered around and looked at it.

Jake: "Well it's worth a shot."

The boys followed the instructions and cooked the soup. When they finished, Sarah and Lily came inside and tasted it and they got a thumbs up. The boys gave each other a high five. Everyone was around the kitchen table eating.

Jake: "Who said we couldn't cook?"

Lily: "I wouldn't be boasting if I were you. The Soup was almost below average."

Henry: "Who cares,we pass."

Lily: "Did you guys see any dangerous animals?"

Endless: "Not really."

Jake: "I guess we were lucky."

Sarah: "There was once a time anyone could enter the forest."

Lily: "Yep, my mom loves telling me how she met my dad In the forest,"

Sarah: "Me and Jake's father use to always go there too,"

Jake: "You knew my dad?!"

Sarah: Smile, "We were really close friends. He's always looking for new ways to stir up trouble, similar to you."

Jake laughed awkwardly.

Sarah: "Like father like son I suppose,"

Sogetsu: "Do you know anything about the dangerous animals there, Mom?"

Sarah: "Well not much,when people saw dead animals more frequently with holes inside of them,they reported it and there was an investigation."

Sogetsu: "Did they find the thing that killed the animals?"

Sarah: "I don't know personally. It was announced that the forest was closed off and they built the wall, the gate and signs were placed around the area, and Oh, Mr. Garharm got his dream job. Ha ha."

Lily: "Well, that's sad. Will it ever be opened again?"

Sarah: "It's been years. I wouldn't count on it."

Henry: sad, "We could have so much fun if it was still open."

Endless: "I could have been the king of the forest."

Jake: "That would be me."

Endless: "You're too weak to be king."

Henry: "Being a king isn't all about strength."

Lily: "I could be your queen Endless if you need one."

Endless: "Ahh…."

Jake: "No one wants you as their queen. Their kingdom wouldn't survive."

Lily kicked Jake's feet under the table, and he cried in pain.

Lily: "You were saying?"

Jake: whispering, "I hate you".

Sarah chuckled as they ate off their dinner and said their goodbyes.

Sarah: "Ok go take a bath boys, it's getting late."

Endless ran upstairs.

Sogetsu: "Mom, did you know who did the investigation?"

Sarah: "The people who did it weren't from here. Jake's grandfather was a part of it, but he passed away. Is there something wrong?"

Sogetsu: "I'm just curious, that's all."

Sarah: "Curiosity kills the cat."

Sogetsu: "Cats have nine lives, mom."

Sarah laughed.

Sarah: "Yes they do."

Sogetsu walked upstairs while Sarah stared from behind and sighed.

Sarah was standing in her room wearing a bath towel and took up a bottle of pills labeled Pentonil. She sat on her bed, defeated, and her hands over her face.

Flash back begins:

Doctor Edward: "Even if you take the pills now, you just have a couple days at most or even less, Miss Sarah."

Flash back ends.

Sarah: I really don't want them to go through the same experience.

Water slowly came from her eyes.

Sarah: quaking voice, "All I wanted was a happy life. Is that too much to ask? "
