It's a Responsibility
Paul had made his way to the elevators. It was the only place that Terry could have gone considering he had gone down this hall during the chaos. At the end of the hall was the Pediatric Ward, but because of the hospital being used as a makeshift shelter, the empty rooms had been converted into sleeping quarters and a partition put up between the temporary sleeping quarters and occupied rooms for children still under the care of the hospital.
It was planned to transfer the children to another hospital out of the city when the flooding began, but once the zombie outbreak hit a critical point that required quarantine, it had become too late. It was decided that they would take the children to the empty Dermatology wing, but after more and more people began to flood the facility instead of possibly risking the children the area was sealed off leaving access to doctors and nurses.
