The body of Mō Fubuki slowly turns into gray ash. Mute stares down at the pile of ash before a light breeze blows away the ash scattering it through the air. Mute lets out a deep breath, as he starts to breathe rapidly. The battle was Mō Fubuki drained Mute of the majority of his cursed energy. The hole in Mute's side leaks blood dying his cloak a brownish red.
Mute starts to look around and sees nothing. There is only a grayish wasteland. The intense cold from Fubuki ice killed vegetation, leaving only massive craters in the ground from the needles exploding. The only sign of a battle is the massive ice spikes on the mountain. Mute stares at the ice spikes until he grips his side and painfully walks away.
The majority of Mute's ribs are broken. If Mute didn't have such a high pain tolerance he would surely pass out. Mute walks as the cracked black mask slips off his face, falling onto the ground, shattering into pieces...
28 hours after the battle between Mute and Fubuki, Mute could be seen in Tokyo wearing a cloak and mask. Under his cloak is a series of bandages. Mute could be seen walking until he stopped at a streetlight. He looked forward before seeing a temple made of brass. Mute reached into his cloak before pulling out his phone.
Mute clicked on a message checking the location. Mute nodded his head before slipping the phone back into his cloak and walking into the temple. Mute walked through a stone-brick path before walking up a set of stone stairs. Mute footsteps echoing out rhythmically before.
Mute walked through one of the massive entrances into the temple. Mute took a few steps before entering an empty room with only a stage and a microphone holder on the stage. Mute glanced around until he heard quiet footsteps.
On the side of the stage, a teenage black-haired girl leaned her head outside the door frame. As soon as she tried to look at Mute, Mute locked eyes with her. The woman's eyes widened as a wave of powerful energy engulfed her body until she stumbled back into the room with sweat running down her face.
Mute glared at the doorway as he slowly walked towards the stage. Until the sound of two sets of hurried footsteps entered his ears, Mute watched as the black-haired girl and a brunette dashed out of the room sliding to the middle of the stage. Mute glared at them until the brunette talked.
"It's a pleasure to meet you Mute. We're Nanako and Mimiko, Geto's assistants. He is yet to arrive in the palace due to some troubles, so if you would please- "
Before Nanako could finish her sentence, Mute's body flickered before reappearing standing between the two girls. Nanako and Mimiko glanced at Mute with sweat rolling off their noses. They couldn't see Mute's movements at all. They both stared at Mute but he wasn't paying them any mind instead he was staring at the door next to the stage.
Mute could sense four other sorcerers on the other side of the door. Mute's fingers started to twitch until a sudden powerful energy appeared behind him. Mute looked back before seeing a man wearing a monk robe walk into the temple with a grin on his face.
"It's about time we met Mute, but please lower your guard. This isn't a trap. "
Said Geto. Mute stared at Geto before relaxing his shoulders. Geto started walking towards the stage before walking up a set of stairs. Geto stood directly in front of Mute about ten feet away before talking.
" Looks like the rumor wasn't a lie. You really can't talk, but let's skip the small talk. You came here to hear my ideals and plans. "
Mute nodded his head at Geto before looking to the left and watching as four sorcerers walked out of the stage. Mute observed the group before a grin appeared on his face. Mute quickly came to a conclusion, the only man in this room that posed a threat was Geto. Mute's guard lowered even further as Geto started to explain his plans...
