" So, Ogi Zenin wants to meet me because the clan is losing authority, huh? "
Mai looks over at Mute before nodding. Mute and Mai keep tracking through the snow, however, something is running through Mai's mind distracting her. Of course, Mute noticed her thoughtful expression before he smirked and spoke.
" You sure are thinking a lot. Are you so thoughtful because you're leading me into one big ambush or is it something else? If you just tell me you're leading me to an ambush, I promise not to kill you. "
Mai looked over at Mute confused before she shook her head and spoke.
" No, I'm not leading you into an ambush, it's just that I'm thinking about asking you something. "
Mute glanced at Mai before he suddenly halted catching Mai off guard who slid to a stop on the snowy ground. Mai looked at Mute confused before Mute reached down and grabbed onto a pebble.
" When I was in this dungeon, I mapped the entire area. It is quite large, it is so large in fact that we're currently standing over it even if we're hundreds of feet away from the entrance of the dungeon, so if the leader of the Zenin Clan plans on ambushing me at the entrance, he'll be quite surprised to see this. "
As soon as Mute finished talking, the pebble in his fingers proliferated into a massive pillar that slammed through the snowy ground and broke into the dungeon. Rubble slid down the pillar as Mute grabbed Mai by the wrist and appeared in the dark dungeon. Mai looked around the dungeon before she looked down and saw dried blood on the ground.
Mai stared at the blood until the sound of footsteps in her ears and she looked up to see her father walking towards her, however, he didn't greet her instead he glared at Mute and spoke.
"It's been a while hasn't it Gen Zenin? The last time I saw you, you were still a little runt inside the balcony watching us meet Satoru Gojo."
Mute locked eyes with Ogi Zenin before he scoffed and spoke.
" I haven't heard the name Gen Zenin in quite a while but it doesn't fit anymore. I'm not part of the clan. So just call me Mute from now on or I guess I will just kill you or something. "
Ogi Zenin let out a worried chuckle after hearing Mute's threat before he spoke once again.
" That is true Mute, but I have a proposition that will let you rejoin the clan. "
As soon as Ogi Zenin said this, Mute busted out into hysterical laughter. Mai stared at Mute like he was insane and his eyes started to water. After a few more seconds, Mute regained his composure and spoke in a bewildered voice.
" You tortured me for what felt like a millennium, and you expect me to rejoin the clan with open arms? Hell no, I don't care what the proposition is, I'm not doing it. Well actually, there is one thing you can do. How about you kill Shoko Ieiri and then fight Satoru Gojo, and kill them both? If you manage that, I will rejoin the clan."
Ogi Zenin stared at Mute with a dire look on his face, before he murmured under his breath.
" That's not a fair- "
Before Ogi Zenin could finish, Mute yelled out, screaming at him slightly enraged.
" FAIR? You trapped me in a dungeon since I was born, with my insane sister! Made me the victim of your jealous hatred of Gojo and forced me to endure mind-boggling torture because of it."
Mute started to quickly walk towards Ogi Zenin before he snapped his fingers making Mai suddenly vanish from the room. Ogi Zenin watched Mute get directly in front before he placed his hand on Ogi's shoulder. Making a wave of chilling killing intent creep down his spine, Ogi's face started to drip bullets of sweat as Mute glared at him until an evil grin arose on his face and he spoke in a cold voice.
" But you know even if I was tortured by my sister for countless years, I don't hate her for it. She was just ordered to do so by a higher authority and hell, I get why she enjoyed killing so much. It's quite fun. So, how about this? Either I kill you or I kill Mai. And since you love making decisions, I'll let you pick. "
After hearing this, Ogi Zenin took a deep breath before he spoke to Mute in a calm voice.
" Kill Mai. "...
