Her Children, Her Answers

Today is a special day for Athanasia Scheinorg.

"Quick! Turn left!" Shouts a spikey golden hair boy with jeweled blue eyes boy to another boy who had liquid golden hair boy with Ruby eyes who just shouted in reply. "Shut up! They will hear us!"

Today was the day her children's 7th birthday. You heard it right. Children. As in more than one.

"Gilgamesh! Watch out!"

*Crash*

"S#*t!" The Ruby eyed boy, now known as Gilgamesh, cursed. He looked at his left ankle and swore. "F*#@!"

"Language."

"Whatever. I twisted my ankle. you need to carry me." Gilgamesh ordered.

The other boy complied and carried Gilgamesh on a piggyback ride and continues to run. "Hold on."

Before you start to ask: who is the father? There's only one word: Magic.

It was one of the favors Zelretch used for Athanasia from Alaya and Gia. Which they reluctantly agreed. But they would be the ones who would choose which souls would be her children.

Zelretch wanted Athanasia mentality stabilize from the fear of blood family. Athanasia had no fear of people but she is too trusting to strangers who kind to her and too fearful who related to her.

Which was proven once before when Zelretch tried to introduce Athanasia's reincarnated mother. The keyword: tried.

Zelretch saw Athanasia's negative reaction and decided to cancel all together. And then started to watch her closely to the way she interact with people.

The results were a nightmare.

"Why? He is clearly a nice man. he must've been framed." Athanasia says out her own point of view.

"...Miss Schweinorg. This is just a scenario." The psychiatrist points out the problem.

"...oh." Athanasia felt embarrassed.

Time after time Zelretch kept those Magi Association at bay untill he run out of excuses. To stop this shinanigans of Athanasia's needing to procreate, He called in his favor from Alaya and Gia.

".... And what makes you think we would agree to this?" Alaya, The manifestation of Humanities will who is possessing and borrowing body, narrows her inhumane eyes at the dead apostle.

"Especially for me. Give a good reason as to why I shouldn't send my beasts to have your head?" Gaia, The manifestation of Life who also borrowing and possessing a body, threatens him with her Aura alone.

But Zelretch ignores and laid his deal. "I will let you two play on Obelia Empire." He sipped his tea.

".... But with no deaths." Zelretch continues to drink.

So after a few days of persuasions of not killing the people of Obelia only the land, Alaya and Gia gifted Athanasia two miracle.

Athanasia became a virgin single mother at 21 years old. It had frightened her at first but that ended when Zelretch told her that they were a gift. A family of her own blood alone and no one else, who will truly love her if she raised them correctly and lovingly.

It made her excited and happy to the point her geis bound psychiatrist saw improvements. which is a enormous step. Athanasia made sure to prepare everything for her children to have what she did not have.

And a castle fit for princesses and princes filled riches, servants, and protections.

And months later Athanasia gave birth to twin sons. Zelretch was the one given the rights in naming them both.

(He had no choice but to use those names or else those twins will spent their life trying to kill him. it was not worth the headache dispite the potential of laughter.)

And there names were: Gilgamesh and Cloud.

From Alaya side, she chose Gilgamesh the Babylonian king of Mesopotamia.

Gilgamesh was the oldest twin who has blood red jeweled glowing eyes with liquid gold hair that looked like a red eyed mini version of his disgraced grandfather Claude De Alger Obelia. He was playful, arrogant, mischievous, and incredibly wise to the point he values knowledge and Experience. But he mostly tries to sneak out from the castle to enjoy modern entertainment and sports alone. He loves his mother Athanasia and her attention more than anything with his twin brother falling in second. Gilgamesh wishes to rule over his mother's, Athanasia, little kingdom made by her own hands. while he care for his brother Cloud, he sees his twin as a lone wolf type but he does know that Cloud is powerful.

On Gia's side was Cloud Strife the Golden Weapon of Gia.

Cloud has spikey sunshine golden hair than can be mistaken as a wolf's main with jeweled sky blue glowing eyes. his face looked like his mother with spikey hair that can still make him looked effeminate. He was silent, serious, humble, studious, and aloof with a strong fascination on magic, studies of alternative energies, landscapes, and plants. Like his brother, Gilgamesh, he has a habit of escaping the castle to satisfy his wondering-lust that gets him into trouble and accidentally made the local thugs into his subordinates, much to Clouds horror and Gilgamesh's amusement. He shows his mother, Athanasia, love by just spending time with her by studying magic, hand to hand combat, Alchemy and weapons fighting. His hobbies are cooking, combat training, creating magi-tech, forging, and machine.

If Gilgamesh is a ruling type of person, then Cloud is his general. The two are absolutely different except for their hobbies on racing each other from motorcycles to skateboards. While Cloud has a habit of making things, Gilgamesh has a habit of collecting things, mostly Cloud's prototype things, to the point everyone can see that Cloud is the giver while Gilgamesh is the receiver, except for the time when Gilgamesh gave Cloud a pack of Fenrir wolves, from the time Gilgamesh sneaked in one of his mother's dimension travels, as a gift on their 4th birthday. The homunculus servants where in panic for Cloud's safety but Cloud loved them to the point that he made himself as Alpha.

"I'm going to call you Zack."

"I gave you a list of dozens of Noble names and you chose an ordinary name like Zack?"

"My wolves. My decision."

"....fine."

Not to be outdone by his brother's gift, Cloud gave Gilgamesh a Pride of Artificial Magical Namean Lions that Cloud made himself. Gilgamesh loved it, at the homunculus servants dismay.

"You shall be name as Sarubi."

"...Sarubi?"

"You don't get to judge since you named one of your wolves as Yuffie of all things."

"Fair point."

The Twins don't mind about how they would interact each other as they fight for their mother's attention, that is how the show their love at each other but mainly for their mother's attention.

The both of them knew the truth about their mother past including each other's past lives it was their secret that no one knew even their mother except for Zelretch, which who knew from the very beginning. Gilgamesh sees Cloud as another equal like for Enkidu while Cloud sees Gilgamesh as his Pilar of support from the trauma that scared him from his past life.

"Brother. I don't know if you noticed but when you say those things about your archenemy, it is like comparing this man, Sephiroth, to a easily jealous genocidal yandere 8 years old boy who doesn't know he like his crush. when it comes to you." Gilgamesh tells as he sat across Cloud with an unimpressed look.

Cloud looked at Gilgamesh incredulously. "Are you trying to tell me he's gay?"

Gilgamesh points out. "He calls you, his puppet. He is obsessed of fighting you. He doesn't care about anything else but you if you are around him. He mostly spends his spare time killing anyone close to you if your not around. And by the way you explain about his childhood up until he died. Don't you think his response to his emotions is mostly fighting and killing? What do you think?"

"Well shit. I didn't realize those." Cloud thoughts wondered about his past life enemy.

"For someone who smart, your an idiot." Gilgamesh is disappointed at this.

They knew their mission of becoming their mother's sons in order to stabilize and protect her from her mental trauma. They didn't know about their mother's past but it must have been horrible.

Gilgamesh didn't care about that though. To him, His mother, Athanasia, may be weak and pathetic in the past but she took and pick up the pieces of herself and grew strong to the point his old self would have been wary of her. Athanasia is Gilgamesh's treasured mother with Cloud as his Golden knight and brother.

Cloud doesn't remember much about his mother in his past life but he respects Claudia as a woman who raised him right and one that cared for him dispite the cruelty of being an outcast. To him, his most respected mother is Claudia Strife While his most beloved mother is Athanasia Schweinorg.

Now though, it was a time for them to run and hide from their mother because today is the day their mother would bring them to famous boutiques and stylist for their birthday.

"Run, Cloud. Run!" Gilgamesh yelled as he saw homunculus servants getting closer.

"Where are we going to run though!?" Cloud shouted back.

"Less talk, just run!" Gilgamesh ordered. no

Due to Athanasia past of being denied of beautiful Clothes and Dresses, she promised to herself that her children will be spoiled to the core with fashionable clothes.

Gilgamesh doesn't mind flaunting his perfection. Due to his past as king, He knows and enjoys showing everyone that he has Power, Wealth, and Beauty in spades. Showing that his influence on high elites means Gilgamesh is powerful. Showing his fashionable and expensive clothing means he is Wealthy. Showing his beautiful aristocratic face with no imperfection means he is high rank Noble or in his case Royal. But it get annoying when it gets to long. which his patient only last for 3 hours only until he gets bored.

However Cloud avoided those like a plague. He hates it so much because it was a waste of money. He was a hard-working humble Mercenary(Being known as the planet's savior get him into thousands of request.)/Deliveryman(He wanted to travel around the world, might as make money with it.)/Parent(He and Tifa adopted hundreds of orphans dispite being not married.) /Politician(Yuffie was very stubborn when she told him to help her fix Wutie back on it's feet with Rufus on needing his help in Midgar.)/Engineer( He, Berret, Reeve and Cid like building and making things, that is how they bond on their spare time.) on his last life. He does not now how to flaunt money like Gilgamesh. Cloud only knows how to make money and gain profits. That's just it.

And the thing is, they can't even say no to their mother because they hate to see her cry.

"haa... haa... haa.. I...I think we lost them." Cloud panted as he looked behind and seeing no one is there.

"Good ...haaa...haaa...."Gilgamesh panted as adrenaline slowly comes down.

Suddenly two hands grabbed each of their shoulders as they heard. "No, you did not." and they both scream.

"Aaaaaaaaaaagghhhhhhh!!!!!!!!''
