Chapter Nineteen

I look around and tried to find my assistant but it seems as though she disappeared the moment we stepped in here. Wierd.

Anyway, I resumed eating the food on my plate and watched as my new friends continued thieir childish banter, and no, Zach can definitely not be considered a friend. I mean it's not like I don't want him to be but it'll be really akward if I called him a friend....

"Zoey. Earth to Zoey!" I heard someone call my name and snapped my head to the left.

"What did you say?" I ask in a daze as i stared at Liam who was poking my shoulder continuously.

"I was asking what you came here for, cause you look bored as hell, I'm sure you didn't come here on your own accord" Liam says.

"Oh, yeah. I came here for the Winshaw lands. My dad wants to expand his business and since that place is close to the city center, it'll be great for business....but wait, how do you know my name?" I say

"Come on, you came here with the great Zach Lee, everyone in this room has gotten someone to dig out your information" Lilith says.

"Really?" I ask as I felt lost. 'Zach is THAT important?'

"You don't know who he is?" Lilith asked and looked at me like I was from another planet and even I was starting to doubt if I really wasn't an alien, cause everyone seems to know who he is except me.
