Chapter 8: Deadline

Remembering what happened a year ago... I really did everything to change the fate of me and tried conquering Yuna but fate isn't always like that. I read the scenes inside the novel and tried to be a third wheel or destroy the whole scene by going out with Yuna but Minamoto always there and the two will always but ended of making these two get together.

"For a year... I tried to change our fate, but it always run its course on its own."

My tears drop on the paper, So I immediately wiped it so that Senpai won't see me crying again like a kid. When I tried to stand up and head to every room to give the invitation, I was stop by Miyazaki-Senpai by grabbing me, leading me to fall down and got hugged tightly by her.

I was confused at first and tried to break free from her hug but she suddenly said to me that it's okay to cry even if your man. Of all the things that happen these past few days I always cry but it's always a cry that I lost my childhood friend and my crush to some guy.

I asked Senpai, "Can I still fall in love even if I'm already broken?" She answered me "Yes" then she looked at me in my eyes as we got close the school bell rang. I immediately grab the invitation and say goodbye to my Senpai but she stopped me and kissed me in my cheeks. I step back, blushing and I stuttered some words but she replied me with a smile that I won't ever forget.

I immediately walked away feeling embarrassed like a girl who got confessed by a handsome man.

The bell rang that indicates that it is time to go home but for me it was a perfect chance to invite people to join the Novel Club and find the last member of our club. While I was giving out flyers to everyone who was going out Hitsune-San saw me and helped me give out flyers but I declined because I was worried if her parents will get mad at her if she comes home late but she insisted and told me that is she not a member of the novel club.

After I hear those words and gave in, I gave her half of the flyers and we distributed it on the other students who are going home. After a few minutes we finally distributed the last flyer.

"Finally It's done!" I said. I was ready to get my bike with Hitsune and I saw a glimpse of Yuna and Minamoto talking wile walking home, I moved to Hitsune-San's back so I can hide from them, Hitsune wanted to ask me why I hide on her back and when she saw them and she looked at me with a sad face, she grabbed my head that looks like she's trying to kiss me.

I thought she was gonna kiss me for good but she whispered to my ears and asked "Is that your crush?" I silently nodded to her, she smiled at me and whispered to me the words that I never thought she will ever say to anyone "How cute."

I got embarrassed big time after that. I looked back to see if Yuna and Minamoto is gone but there she was, looking at me with a face of getting shocked and jealous at the same time.

Why would she get jealous at what's happening between me and Hitsune-San? I immediately remove Hitsune-San's hand on my face and immediately opened the locked on my bike.

I told Hitsune-San to get in my bike and after that I drived my bike to get out on that awkward moment leaving Yuna and Minamoto.

"Hey Yuna? What are you looking on that couple there?"

"Eh? I-its nothing!"

"Really? Because I thought your getting jealous at those two?"

"I said it's nothing ok! Now let's go."

"Ok then."

Minamoto walks to the direction of her car and Yuna is still looking at the direction where he saw Akito and Hitsune hugging each other.

"Akito..."

We finally made to Hitsune's Apartment. I thought she was living on a bigger house like Miyazaki-Senpai but I was wrong. Hitsune got out of my bike and thanked me for driving to her apartment and I replied "Don't mention it!" And I drive away to go home.

I was at the entrance of my house and suddenly someone grabbed my arm. I looked around to see who grabbed me and saw Yuna with a face who was catching her breath.

"Yuna? What are you doing here?"

"H-hey... Who are you with in the school?" She asked

"H-huh? It's just a friend. Why do you care."

"I-ITS NOT LIKE THAT AT ALL!" she shouted.

I was surprised to why she shouted me. Then she told me to stay away with her because she doesn't like Hitsune-San. After I hear those words coming from her mouth I got mad.

"Why do you care about that?"

"H-huh? W-what do you mean?"

"Why the hell do you care about me befriending with any woman!"

She was surprised to why I shouted at her.

"You we're always like that when we were children! You got mad at me all of a sudden befriending with any people especially woman! And if I ever ignore you, you always beat me up!"

"H-hey Akito? Why are you-"

"I'VE HAD ENOUGH ALREADY!"

We got silent for a minute and I finally said the words I want to say.

"Just... Leave me alone already, you already broke me. I don't want to feel that same way ever again."

I enter the house and closed the door behind me leaving Yuna outside.

We spent the last few days handing the flyers so students on our school and finally, the last day has come. We waited inside of the novel club to welcome new members but there's still no one coming in the club. There's still 2 hours until the deadline and were anxious if someone will join the club or not. after a few minutes, someone opened the door and we thought its a student who wants to join our group, but it was just the Pres.

"So... There's still no one joining the group?" She asked.

"Yeah... So I guess this club is done for..." I said but she immediately smirked and said "Not Quite." She walked past by us and slammed a familiar looking flyer, and when I saw it I was shocked to see Pres. name on the flyer we made.

"Wait? Are you?"

She cut my words saying "YES! I'll be the last member of the Novel group!"

We Were shocked but Hitsune-San Immediately asked "What about you being the Student Body President in this school?" Then she replied us with "Well... I already gave it to the Vice President because we were rivals on getting the title as President so I gave it to Him."

We were dumbfounded at what happened but finally the Novel club will not be closed for good! But while I'm almost crying in joy Pres immediately hugged me on my arm. I dont know why she did that but she way she hold me looks like she's seducing me, she immediately moves her lips on my ear and whispered to me "Now take responsibility for making me leave the title of Student Body President."

I blushed for a second but I felt chills behind me and when i looked at my back I saw Hitsune-San and Senpai pouting.

"HE'S MINE!" they both shout while jumping towards me. It's a good thing that we saved the Club but im worried about my peace because of these girls.
