The Best

Everyone's attention turned to Cassandra and Nathaniel's group.

He glared at the woman before him and was about to rebut when, surprisingly, Katerina spoke up.

"It seemed someone looked in the mirror today," she said as the corners of her lips rose to a mischievous grin.

Maya stifled a laugh while Nathaniel shamelessly chuckled at Katerina's joke.

"You bitch!" Cassandra shrieked as rushed up to slap Katerina.

To her surprise, Katerina caught her hand and twisted her wrist.

"I'm not one of those feeble girls you like to pick on," Katerina said out loud, still grinning as she shoved Cassandra away.

"Do you have any idea who I am?" Cassandra asked as she glared at Katerina looking unlikely to backdown.

"Miss Poiters, I don't think—" the well-dressed man, who seemed to be her date, said as he tried to calm Cassandra down and save her from further embarrassment.

Unlike Cassanda, this man seemed to know who Katerina was.
