Beginning of a Saga My name is

"Its too windy today" I say to myself pulling up my face mask. I'm on a rooftop which surely doesn't help with the breeze witch is dragging my white hair to the side as it passes. I'm not up here for no reason tho, I'm up here for one of my favorite pass times which is reading peacefully.

"HEY NARUTO!"

And so much for reading peacefully as I look down off the roof only to see the usual culprit for ruining my morning, Naruto Uzumaki. 'Tsk' I click my tongue and decide it's better to just head to the school since I'm already late. Because of Narutos stunt I'm actually there before Iruka sensei. With the extra time I find my seat and sit right in front of a boy with brown hair a coat and some sun glasses named Shino.

After sitting for a couple minutes Iruka comes in with a tied up naruto and gives him a long winded speech I ignored. Tuning in at the end I manage to hear about us retaking a test on the transformation jutsu much to my classmates despair. I slowly get up and walk to the front finding myself after Naruto in line.

Sakura Haruno and Sasuke Uchiha both go before us and transform without issue.

Iruka - "Next, Naruto Uzumaki"

After Naruto walks up I see him transform into a girl which honestly could be useful judging by the fact my teacher looked like he almost died of bloodloss. Iruka was apparently unhappy with Narutos new "sexy jutsu" but oh well as long as it doesn't become a regular thing I dont care. After calming down we continue the test.

Iruka - "Next, Sakumo Hatake"

Walking up I put my book away and bring one hand up to transform into a copy of Iruka which gets me a pass. I knew how to make clones and transform for a while now because my father taught me and through practice it's become easy since it's one of the simplest justu.

(Later that day)

Walking home after class I see some of classmates and think about going over towards them but quickly change my mind. Its Sasuke and his fangirls, some of them have been paying attention to me lately so I try to avoid him to be honest. It's nothing personal it's just annoying. As I'm thinking to myself I bump into something hard and tall. Looking up it's who I feared would see me today.

Looking up I see Might Guy the man who decided himself that he's my uncle. The best course of action right now is to just keep reading and walk around him.

Guy -"Ohhhhh Sakumo! Just returning from the academy how YOUTHFUL!" he says with tears in his eyes.

"..."

(Five Minutes Later)

I was horribly wrong hes just following me calling me "hip like my dad" whatever that means. But him mentioning my father gives me a good idea.

"Actually speaking of him Guy I think my dad was looking for you near the Hokages building"

Without saying anything I see him sprint off with superhuman speed while facing me with a thumbs up.

(Meanwhile at the stone monument)

'achoo' "hmm weird I dont think I have a cold, I should head back anyway Sakumo will be back soon, be back soon Obito, Rin" says a man who looks like a older version of the mc.

(Back to Mc)

After getting rid of Guy the rest of my walk was nice and quiet since my house is a bit out of the way. "I'm home" I say opening the door.

Kakashi -"ah you're here perfect come eat"

It's always weird to see my dad cook it doesn't happen often normally we just go out but whatever it probably has to do with tomorrow's graduation test.

After eating I walk outside and spend a few hours practicing with my tanto and earth style I only know two earth style ninjutsu right now which is mud wall jutsu and the headhunter jutsu, mud wall I've had in the pocket for a while but headhunter is newer so I'm trying to perfect it.

(The next day)

Sitting outside reading is pretty nice I'm just waiting for my dad now I've already completed the exam making 5 clones was easy enough truthfully it seems like everyone passed except for one. I'm brought out of my thoughts by one of my few friends walking towards me. A boy from the Nara clan with black pointy hair in a pontail named Shikamaru.

Shikamaru - "Sakumo, some of our families are going to the Chojis to eat tell your dad so you guys can come later it's in 3 hours"

I turn towards him only to nod and keep reading as he finds a spot next to me to do his hobby of cloud watching. We like each others company because of the quiet but honesty it's hard to find it peaceful here when I can feel two annoying people staring at me. Sakura because I was top of the class and "That spot belongs to Sauke", the other person is Ino because her and Sakura constantly argue over who's better me or the uchiha.

After waiting for a bit my dad shows up in his usual outfit with his Jonin vest and his mask. people always talk about how I took after him and how I look the exact same as he did as a child. After he greets some of the other parents he knows we leave and head home as I tell him about what Shikamaru said which he happily agrees to go to since it's less cooking.

Later that night all the families who went to get barbeque were hanging out when another shinobi came and got most of our parents for some reason but regardless that was our signal to head home as I say goodbye to everyone and walk back I notice Mizuki sensei another one of our teachers running past me apparently also joining the search I suppose.

Getting home I follow I immediately go over to the memorial of my Grandfather I was named after him. My dad doesn't talk about him much but I know he was a famous ninja known for his kinjutsu. "Hey Grandpa I'm home, I graduated today" I say while cleaning around his picture. "I'm wondering who's team I'll be put on, it could really be anyone's since I dont know if dad would want me on his team but we'll have to see I guess. Either way goodnight" I close the door to his memorial as I turn and go to the kitchen to eat before bathing and going to bed.

(The next day at the academy)

As always like my dad I'm arriving fashionable late but not late enough to get in trouble like he does. Just late enough so I'm there right before we start getting our teams. Getting to class I walk to the back since today we can sit wherever I sit next to Shikamaru as Iruka starts announcing the team's just as planned I got here right on time.

Iruka - " Group 7 Naruto Uzumaki, Sakura Haruno, and Sasuke Uchiha.... Next, group 10 Ino Yamanak, Shikamaru Nara, Sakumo Hatake.

Ino seemed happy but I couldn't help but feel annoyed at least I have Shikamaru though he's smart how much so I dont quite know but at the very least hes far better in that regard compared to others our age. Originally the families probably wanted Choji to be on the team but I heard he wanted to take over the family restaurant instead of being a ninja. Bringing me out of my thoughts was Iruka dismissing us until the afternoon where we'll meet our new sensei.

I wonder who's my sensei I think to myself as I sit under a tree outside. I have to decide what to do I know my dad is busy with team selection stuff today so I'll be alone for the most part.

As I'm planning to go home however Shikamaru and ino stop me and invite me to get food. I agree I'll have to spend time with them anyway so I should get used to it.

( A little while later )

Sitting on a balcony with my team eating rice balls isn't all that bad honestly but Ino is a bit of a pain.

Ino - "Hey listen up! As long as were in the same group, follow my instructions."

Shikamaru - "yeah yeah"

Although Shikamaru agrees I can tell hes only doing it so she doesn't get mad but whatever I dont care I'll just stay quiet. "..." I can see Ino looking at me for an answer but Shikamaru comes to the rescue.

Shikamaru - "hmm. Naruto...?"

Looking up I can see the orange jumpsuit and blonde hair sneaking up on our resident Uchiha and jumping in the window before the wood hatch closes.

Ino - "Naruto! I won't forgive you if you hurt Sasuke!

After a bit of noise the fight seems to have stopped as the window opens and Sasuke hops out.

Shikamaru - "Naruto go beat by the person he challenged..."

Ino - "Of course! Naruto is no match for Sasuke!

Mc - "hmmm your both wrong" I say while looking back at my book.

Shikamaru - "What do you mean? Sasuke was fine and just came out?"

Ino - "Ya watch what you say! Sasuke wouldn't lose to Naruto!"

Mc - "Go open the window then" I lazily let out whilst laying on my side to continue reading.

Shikamaru - "What a drag"

As I watch him get up and jump over with Ino they slowly open the window and the look of shock on their face was priceless. I'm lucky I could see Sasuke tied up when Naruto left. The whole situation left me with a smile, Not that you could see it but it showed around my eyes.
