Chapter thirty three

°Reveal°

Everyone was seated at the dining as they ate, the seating had changed since Derin and Aliz had acknowledged there interest in one another, Derin sat close to aliz and they were opposite Yan and the rest Nate family, zila sat at the right hand of his father while his mom at the left, muzak sat next to the queen while grexiak was further after Claire.

They all ate while discussing, on occasions Derin's eye would travel to where Grexiak was lately they had gotten close as he had accepted her offer of joining her, they both met on occasion and due to the fact that everyone has been busy including Muzak who had been learning about the kingdom they both met up easily without being caught. Yan sat opposite so he was able to see Aliz's face, he would occasionally glance at her to see if she was staring back at him and most times he caught her looking, he wondered if he had made a mistake in avoiding her all this while but what could he do there relationship was against the rules of the castle.

Claire on the other hand couldn't be happy as she wanted to find out the reason zila changed too much and why even if he had a hard day, he'll still make out time to leave for the village at night she was no fool and she knew something must have gotten the prince's attention and she has to find whatever it was, zila was her's and no one else she wouldn't mind killing a bunch to get to him.

"This week has been very busy and tiring to everyone and now we would be going hunting just to ease up a bit after breakfast." jazzer informed and everyone's attention went to the king as they knew every order giving came from the king directly, it was exciting for the vampires to hunt, it was one of there fun moment.

"They have been too much work lately and I think it would help reduce the tension." The king said as he saw everyone anticipating his word.

"That's wonderful my love." Yu yang said as she placed her hand on her husband's hand she loved hunting and it's been quite long since they hunted, "That's thoughtful of you my king, it would help reduce the fatigue we feel." came Nate's words. They all had dinner and at late noon they all set out to hunt they brought the palace stallions as everyone picked one, Zila strolled towards his black stallion as he pat it gently, he got on it with ease and so did everyone else when they set out the king ordered "They will be a split as the land is vast and it will be easier to cover more space if we split up. jazzer, the queen and king Nate would go together, zila and muzak. you stick with me, Yan, grexiak and derin together and lastly Claire, aliz and queen Nate." They all left to hunt, the king as well as the two prince went to the left and jazzer as well as other two went there own way the females where dressed in hunting attair so it wasn't difficult to get on the horse though they were helped by guards who also went along with them but camped a bit further as that was what was normally done.

Getting to there desired choice of hunt everyone got down from there horses as they tied them to the tree, zila made his way deep into the forest as he listened diligently, the king on the other hand studied the two men why he had chosen to hunt with them was to study them and get to know Muzak more. Derin felt annoyed that Yan had to tag along with them and it was worse for Grexiak, Yan didn't like or trust them and they both hated him before they set out Derin offered "Mom why don't you join us and have him join your group." he nodded towards Yan to show who he meant. "Ahh you know how good I am and you wouldn't want to lose huh?." replied Derin's mother. "You know me well enough mom." derin gave a fake chuckle.

"It' not a competition Derin." Informed his sister who narrowed her eyes at him, she knew her brother well enough and she knew he had plans as there mother was good at hunting yes, but wasn't really a sharp person they mostly left her out because she seemed dumb compared to them and their father.

"Would you rather join me then?." Derin said with a raised brow towards his sister "Fine." she said and she followed them making her brother surprised "what?! lets go and stop staring." she said to him, Derin was beyond mad that his annoying sister had tagged along and the two groups parted leaving Yan with aliz and queen Nate. Yan was disappointed in derin, he didn't even consider taking his soon to be wife along with him. it's a shame that Aliz choose such a brainless man.

Queen Nate on arrival on there chosen hunting grounds left the other two as she wasn't interested in group hunting, Aliz and Yan walked around as they listened pactiently waiting for there prey, they would stare at each other every now and then as they made there way deep in the forest crossing a pond Aliz who was ahead almost got knocked down by a bull which had ran out the forest, Yan was quick to pull her as they both landed hard on the floor "Shit." Yan groaned at the possible danger that would have occurred and also at the pain he felt at the impact of the hard fall.

"Sorry are you ok?." she panicked and looked around him to see if the thing that hit them was still around.

"I'm fine." he said as he stood up and helped her stand as well. They look towards the direction the bull had taken and then he asked "Are you ready?."

"Yes let's hunt this baby down." she said as she pull out her claws and they went after the bull.

Derin as well as Grexiak and Claire moved along the trees which ruffled and swayed from time to time due to the cold wind that signaled possible down pour, they stepped slowly but steadily as they wouldn't want to make there presence known to their prey, Claire walked forward as she didn't want to be with the werewolf or her annoying brother but she kept looking back to let them know she was watching finally an antelope came into there site Claire pull out her claws as she smiled brightly "We got a mama antelope." she said as she began to walked further Grexiak who was headed towards the antelope got pulled back by Derin who had already sighted a pit in front, he had been trying to get rid of his sister and this was a perfect opportunity he placed his hand on his lips telling Grexiak to not say a word, Claire turned to them "What are you guys still doing there! let's get it." she said in anger as she moved forward just to trip and fall into a pit full of mud "Ahhh." she screamed in shock as well as frustration.

Derin quickly pulled Grexiak towards another part as he screamed at his sister "We'll go ahead and get the antelope."

"Help me damn it."

"It's too deep I'll just end up making matters worst than solving it." he said as he and Grexiak left the place

"Derin!." she called out to her brother but got no response "Derin! you idiot how can you leave me here." she struggled to come out just to fall back down "That asshole!."

Zila and his father as well as muzak had already caught a moose and had stationed it at a safe zone where no animal will find it and where the guards will guard it. They set out to find another, it was getting quite dark as it seemed like it was going to rain they walked around trees as they tried to hunt a wild cow, the wild cow seemed to be eating grass when they were approaching but immediately it dashed towards there direction in force and the king immediately said "Stay low."

"But aren't we supposed to attack it it's coming for us."

"I don't think that's advised." zila said as he narrowed his eyes to the back of the cow "I don't think we are the reason it's ru-." before zila could complete his word muzak had dashed towards the cow to kill it just for a tiger to appear into their line of sight. "Shit." zila said as he and his father stared at Muzak in worry. Muzak wanted to be the first after there father to caught a hunt when he saw the cow he felt it was a perfect opportunity to prove to his father that he was better than Zila, though he had been warned he had the feeling to go after it and once he saw the cow close he lost it and ran towards it just to realize there was a yellowish brown eyes staring at him, he froze at the spot "Oh no." he said as he gulped down in fear. "Stay calm and slowly move back." the king said to Muzak who was beyond scared "It's a big one." muzak informed in fear "Gently come back." Zila said as he began to go towards the right "Where are you going?." the king asked Zila "I'll go towards that side and subdue it while I try to tame it you get him out of there and then help me." " but-." before the king could say anything the tiger roared, it roar was more deeper as well as louder than that of a lion, Muzak who had been moving back calmly turned to run quickly which made the tiger charged towards Muzak it threw it's claws at Muzak leg as it dragged it nails from his calf to his feet "Help!." muzak screamed in fear of being cat food, just as the tiger wanted to dive at Muzak upper body, Zila appear behind it and knocked it down he dug his nails into the tiger and Muzak took the chance to escape.

While everyone where seriously hunting, Grexiak and Derin made there way, away from the rest of the people, they went deep into the woods. "Why are we here Derin?."

"Would you rather go to some stupid hunt and end up like my sister huh?." Derin said as they stared at each other and before either of them could say anything they began to make out behind a big tree close to a rock, Derin discarded her clothes as he undid her undergarments as well, they stared at each other with nothing but lust she smiled at him as she held his shoulder for support and Derin undid his trousers "Ready." he asked and she didn't respond rather she raised her legs to give better access and moved closer to him derin held his lengthy self and pushed inside her as they began to move together Grexiak moaned in pleasure and it was really loud that derin caused out loud. "Keep it down." he said as he looked around to ensure no one else was there it was getting dark and had began to rain so it would be hard to spot them.

Aliz and Yan tried there best to hunt down the bull but it escaped every single time feeling frustrated she scoffed loudly.

"Angry we didn't make a kill?." Yan asked as he was worried by the look on her face, "Yes! I am not only angry am beyond pissed you can't do anything right can you?." Aliz said as she stared at him. Yan was stunned by how arrogant Aliz sounded. "What's wrong? it ok we would make another kill and even if we don't surely your father as well as other groups will."

"Bullshit! that literally rubbish, do you think running away can grantee you success huh? you think if you don't kill it, it won't come for you? well well I'm sorry to break it to you that that doesn't solve any problem at all!." Aliz said as she breath in deeply and began to walk away from him

"Why do I get the feeling we aren't talking about the bull anymore. Is something else bothering you?."

"How can you act oblivious, how can you stand there and look at me and ask such senseless questions, when you know you are what's wrong huh why pretend as though nothing happened when you know quite well something did? how can you even sleep at night cause I can't Yan! I really can't sleep cause when I do that day replays in my head and after that the next day and the days after, it all comes back in circles so I ask you again how can you try to kiss me and pretend I don't exist later on and go back to Ama knowing well enough what you have done huh? how tell me, am I really a joke to you tell me!." she said as she pointed at herself her red eye looking livid as she looked at him trembling.

"Aliz." Yan said calmly as his hands shook, he saw tears slipped down her eyes and he felt really worried, he strolled towards her and engulfed her in his arms. she cried bitterly in his arms as he tried to calm her down "Shh it's okay it's okay." he said and immediately she pulled away from him she wiped her tears and walked away from him.

Yan stood there as he watched her leave, he could feel the cold breeze that consumed him this was the first time he has ever seen Aliz blow off steams, he looked down at himself and hated himself more, he had really thought she was doing ok he thought that she had finally moved on as they hadn't kissed, he was so calm as though cold water had spilled on him and immediately it began to rain he quickly made his way towards where she had gone to help look for shelter.
