At the hospital

Through the crowded hallway Micah ran as if his life depended it on it. Renya’s voice rang in his head.

‘She is my sister, Her name is Eryna—I didn’t want to marry you so She took my place and married you—‘

“Please-let me see you! Please wait for me,” Micah chanted to himself. “I have so much to tell you, I have so much to ask of you! You can’t just go like that,” he clenched his teeth in pain. He opened the door to the room where Eryna was staying but it was empty and the nurse was fixing the sheet.

“Excuse me! Where is the patient that was staying in the room?” He asked hurriedly.

“She was taken away for the surgery just a minute ago,” she replied.

“Where? Where is the operating room?” He asked desperately.

The nurse directed him towards the operating room.
