NEW GUARDIAN

Ivan gave him a serious and doubtful look. Perhaps he was surprised by his question. Furthermore, the man knows that Jaime is his guardian.

"Are you serious?" With frown, Ivan asked him.

He nodded before answering Yes.

Meanwhile, Jobel prepared the porridge he bought for Daveryl so that he could eat. Although it had in mind the conversation earlier about Daveryl being a Dominant Omega. If Daveryl were to become his again, he might be recognized more quickly by the public. His Father Cedric will not underestimate him anymore.

"But how about Jaime? He is your guardian, right? Even if you cut off your relationship with him, you can't erase his name in your profile information in school. Especially that he is the Director of Philippine University." Jobel heard Ivan speaks again.

"He won't be angry or what, he's the one who cut off our relationship when he chose that fake Omega of his." Daveryl said. "Oh by the way Jobel. Do you have a tiny idea if your sister was really been marked by Jaime? Marking has connection. Both parties will feel that connection." Daveryl said which he emphatically said the last part.

Jobel face the two again, and handed the bowl of porridge to Daveryl which the man accepted.

"I honestly don't know. We maybe a brother and sister but we aren't that close. To tell you the truth, she even asked me to mark you after the differentiation."

Ivan and Daveryl jolted. They both stare at Jobel for a second and then look back at each other again. Ivan is the one who answered Jobel.

"That has a meaning, Jobel. It means, she wasn't marked and she lied to Jaime. Now I'm interested to know if what will she do if Jaime found out her lies."

Jobel shrugged. "I don't care about her. I'm more concerned about Daveryl." He said.

Daveryl swallowed the porridge on his mouth before speaking.

"Me? As far as I remember you hates me."

"I was! But I'm not anymore. Daveryl, I told you, I like you. Why don't we go back to what we were before? I promise I'll take good care of you. I'll make you happy." Jobel even held his hands while saying that.

Daveryl should be happy because the situation has been reversed. The real Daveryl's wish has come true. But no, it's not enough, not enough is happening. What he wants, is to see struggle and crawl on the ground the one who plotted and killed the entire family of the real Daveryl.

"I can't. Or should I say I can't believe you yet." He said.

He feels the glare of Ivan on his. But he didn't look at him and just continue to talk with Jobel.

"You know why I can't believe your words right? You made fun of me, you bullied me, you even made me look like a crazy boy who was after you. My life was tough because of you. Our classmates also bullied me because of you. So, Jobel, how am I supposed to believe you now?"

The boy in front of Daveryl and Ivan gulps and look so dejected. Can't be helped, Daveryl needs someone to spy on Lopez family to know what he should do. Why does he need to pay someone to shadow them if he can use someone to freely enter their den?

Ivan tapped Jobel's shoulder. "Don't be dejected, you know that he will tells you that. It's normal for him to feel that after what you did. But if you're really serious about what you just said, then proves it. It's not that hard to win someone back again you know? Especially if that someone was originally yours." Ivan is talking with Jobel, but his eyes is on Daveryl.

Daveryl smirked, now that he realized, it really suits Ivan to be his guardian. He feels that he knows what he really wants to happen. They will be a perfect match if ever.

"I will! Daveryl, it's fine if you don't believe me now, but don't worry, I'll do everything to convince you that I'm telling the truth. Just give me a chance to prove my worth, can you?" Jobel said.

Daveryl smelled Jobel's pheromones, after that he felt the genuineness of what he said. Now he can say, he is holding a Lopez by the neck.

"I.. I don't know." Of course he have to act like he's scared. "You hurt me before, Jobel. So I don't know if you really are telling the truth."

Jobel touch his face and he didn't avoid it. He let him be, that's how to catch a fish in the sea, baby. You have to let that fish taste your bait.

"I promise, I won't hurt you anymore. And I promise, I will not allow anyone hurt you, even my sister or whoever them be. I'm sorry for realizing it too late, Daveryl. Just give me one chance, I'll correct everything." Jobel said again.

Ah.. what a great feeling to see your fucking enemy acted like this in front of you. Not enough, what he sees is still not enough. not enough, compared to the suffering of the real Daveryl. The real Daveryl experienced crying all night because of Jobel. The real Daveryl fell ill because he couldn't handle the first failure. But instead of pity, Jobel's group continued to mock him. So, Ricky wants this fucking boy to suffer more.

"Daveryl, I think Jobel is really serious. Why don't you give him a chance? And besides, as your new guardian. I will check on him if he will try to hurt you again." Ivan finally speaks again.

He could feel the disgust for Jobel in the man's pheromones. Daveryl is certain, Ivan knows what on his mind. And he is on his fucking side.

"Okay.. I'll give him a chance. But, don't disappoint me." He said to Jobel.

Jobel almost jumped for joy. He couldn't believe what he heard, the man he loved gave him a chance. And he will make sure that the trust he gave him will not be wasted. Even if his relationship with his sister Ziana will be broken.

"Yes! Yes! Daveryl, I'll do everything. Thank you!" He said. "And thank you Doc Ivan." He then face Ivan.

The man just shrugged his shoulders. "Don't mention it. Glad to help!" He said while smiling.

Daveryl smile too while eating his porridge.

It's almost 6 in the evening when he reached his late parents house. Ivan insisted of driving him home as guardian as he said. So he has no choice but to accept the offer. While on the way, they talked about Jobel and his plans. The man laughed after hearing it and even shuffled his hair. Jobel went home by himself after assuring his safety with Ivan.

"Let's get inside. I'll introduce you to George. And I have something important to discuss with you too." Daveryl said while getting out of the car.

"How important is that?"

"It depends on how we talk about my secondary gender and my future business." He answered.

Ivan pause before nodding his head and follow him. They entered a medium-sized house. George just gave him the location of the house so this was the first time he set foot on the grounds as Daveryl.

Surprisingly, the house is beautiful and clean. there are many different flowers around like magic rose, roses, daisy and even bougainvillea. At each corner of the 600sqm fence, there are tall mango trees that if he is not mistaken are apple mangoes.

"Beautiful." He whispered.

"Heh, you acted as if it's your first time coming here." Ivan tease him.

Daveryl smile and just continue to enter. He saw a set of table and chairs under a large bougainvillea that really cared and trimmed. Perfect resting place.

He knocked the door. "George, I'm here." He also said.

The door open but it wasn't George who opened it. Ivan immediately grabbed his shoulder and hugs him from behind. He feels the pheromones envelopes him and it was from Ivan. He didn't react since it's a protection against the person in front of them.

"Why did you come home late? And why are you with him?" It's cold, deep and sounds...angry.

Daveryl secretly tightened his grip on Ivan's arm. And he was also secretly trembling. Why is Jaime at his house?!

"Jaime, don't block the doorway. The owner of the house wants to enter. And me, as his new guardian, also want to enter too." Ivan was the one who answered Jaime.

"New guardian?!" Jaime asked angrily with his eyes focused on Daveryl.

"Yeah! You're not he's guardian anymore, right? So, I volunteered to be his new guardian. Don't worry, I'll protect him, like what guardian should have to do." Ivan emphatically said those words with bitterness on his smile.

Hearing that, Daveryl quickly recovered from the shock. He let out a sigh before speaking.

"Excuse us Mr. Razon. Please go back, I and Ivan have something to discuss. And, you're not my guardian anymore, so pay no mind to me and just focus with your Omega, sir." He said without looking at the man.

Jaime flinched as his pheromones emitted in the air. Daveryl jolted and turned to hides in Ivan's embrace immediately. Ivan's hands covered his pheromone glands before enveloping him his own pheromones and gives his deadly glare to Jaime who suddenly feels surprised with what Daveryl just did.
