Each Other’s Destruction

Weeks go by and Meiying is avoiding Guifeng as much as possible. She make sure that they will never cross path together.

It's break time so Meiying and Lihua is just walking around the school.

"Meiying, guess who I started talking to?" Lihua hook onto Meiying's arm.

"A cute and kind senior," Meiying raise an eyebrow at Lihua. Lihua giggle.

"No..it's one of the most popular student. His name is Luo Jianyu." Meiying stop walking. Lihua look at Meiying confuse.

"Luo Jianyu? Guifeng's best friend?" Lihua nod and look at Meiying's surprise face. Meiying grab onto Lihua's arm and drag her to a place where there's less people.

"When did you start talking to him? And why? You know that Jianyu is Guifeng's friend and I don't get along with Guifeng." Meiying says in a angry tone. Lihua's face turn sad.

"I know but I really like him. Please don't be mad," Lihua beg.

"You know that this can't—," Lihua interrupt Meiying.

"Pleaseeeeee," Lihua beg again. Meiying take a deep breath trying to calm down.

"Okay..I get it. Do whatever you want." Lihua smile happily and hug Meiying tightly. She hug Lihua back. Break is over and they're back in class.

In class, Meiying couldn't stop staring at Jianyu, trying to find what's so good about him that make Lihua have fallen for him. Jianyu caught Meiying staring and wink at her. Meiying got shy and quickly turn around. Now Meiying know why her best friend have fallen for him. Jianyu totally have a different vibes from Guifeng.

Class is over and it's lunch time. Meiying and Lihua go to the roof to eat lunch.

"Did you hear the rumor of Guifeng is talking to Li Jiahui?" Meiying nod yes.

"Don't you wonder why and when they started talking?" Meiying look at Lihua.

"Not my business so I don't care." Meiying continues eating her lunch. 15 minutes pass and they have finish their lunch. They decide to walk around before class start again.

They were walking peacefully until a girl come running and bump into Meiying. She fell onto the ground and her 2 friends come running to help her get up. She got up and pat away the dusk off her.

"Don't you have eyes?!" She says angrily. Lihua push Meiying behind her.

"Hey! It's your fault! You're the one that bump into my friend!" Lihua going closer to the girl.

"Don't you dare to come any closer! Do you know who I am?" The girl pushes Lihua and Lihua stumbles back. Meiying catches Lihua and move Lihua behind her.

"I'm Li Jiahui." She stare deathly at Meiying.

"I don't care who you are but don't you ever touch my friend." Meiying go closer to the Jiahui's face.

"Apologize to me right now!" Jiahui yell at Meiying. At this point everyone start gathering around them.

"Why should I apologize when you're the one that bump into me." Jiahui roll her eyes at Meiying for saying that. Meiying can see that Jiahui is very angry right now. Lihua pulls Meiying away but

Meiying stop Lihua from doing so.

Jiahui look around and see that everyone is intensely staring at them. Jiahui then raise her hand to slap Meiying but Meiying grab onto her hand on time. Meiying then SLAP hard on Jiahui's cheek then push Jiahui down onto the ground. Everyone is shock at what just happened.

Suddenly everyone start moving aside and Guifeng and Jianyu come into the gathering. Jianyu go straight to Lihua asking what happened.

"What happened here?" Guifeng ask facing toward Meiying. Meiying turn away. Jiahui quickly stands up and hold onto Guifeng's arm.

"She slap me and it hurt so much." Guifeng take a look at Jiahui's cheek making sure it's okay.

"Wow oh wow. Acting like a couple, so fake." Meiying says sarcastically.

"Meiying, apologize to Jiahui," Guifeng says in a serious tone.

"No. I will never." Meiying grab onto Lihua's hand and start to walk away but Lihua was pull back by Jianyu.

"Lihua..if you don't go with me, we will not be friend anymore." Meiying says in a serious tone.

"Lihua...you don't need to be friend with someone like that." Guifeng try to insult Meiying. Meiying turn around and start walking toward Guifeng. She then SLAP Guifeng. Everyone gasp and is shock at what happened. Meiying left without saying anything and Lihua follow behind.

*RRIINNGGGG*

The bell rings so everyone quickly go back to class. The whole day have been tough for Meiying. She can't focus at all because of what happened during lunch. After 2 more classes, school is over.

Meiying quickly get out of class and go home first without Lihua. She's too stress so she decides to walk around before going home. After walking for some time, Meiying stop on a bridge.

"What is wrong with me today? I need better self control." Meiying talk to her self.

"You did good today." Someone starting clapping. Meiying turn to look to see who it is. She sees a boy standing next to her that seem to be going to the same school as her.

"What do you mean I did good today?" Meiying look at him confuse. He chuckle.

"I'm Yang Qingwei." He smile at Meiying.

"I was watching you the whole time during the fight at school. You did what is right." Meiying only sigh.

"I think I was too rough. Don't you think so?" Meiying look at Qingwei for answer.

"Not at all." Qingwei come stand next to Meiying. They started talking and get along super well. They talk and talk until the sun is about to set.

"You make my day so much better." Meiying smile at him.

"Anytime." Qingwei smile back at Meiying.

"The sun is about to set, let's go home." Meiying start walking home.

"I'll take you home." Qingwei walk beside Meiying.

After awhile they've reach Meiying's house.

"Thanks for walking me all the way home." Meiying thank Qingwei.

"No problem." They both wave goodbye and Meiying watch him walk away before entering the house.
