When the two of them came downstairs, Beth brought breakfast to the table and waited for them. Mom walked in from the lawn, complaining.
"James, what's wrong with you? I didn't find any newspapers in the newspaper box at the entrance of the lawn. Don't you even order newspapers?"
"Mom, I go to the company every day, and the company has newspapers to read."
James quickly explained:
"Besides, the internet is so developed now. There are still a few people who can read newspapers. Most computers and mobile phones can read them."
"Gee, computers and cell phones are your young people. We old people are still used to reading newspapers."
Mom nagged unhappily.
Emmy smiled and quickly took the message:
"Why don't we order some newspapers so that mom doesn't go to the newsstand outside the neighbourhood to buy newspapers every day?"
"Forget it, forget it. I am going back. Since you don't read the newspaper, don't order it."
