"Thanks. You better stick to that because they might disagree with us. They're both an ogre. Claimed to be romantic but stone at heart."
Jacob laughed. "Your sarcasm is just too damn right. They would be shocked."
She imagined her granny's round eyes and was speechless. She started laughing.
Jacob stayed for a while talking to her grandmother.
"Thanks for a great time, Jake," she said. "Take care of him, granny," Angeline said without looking at him again. She went straight to her the staircase. She missed the eyes that followed her till she vanished from the hallway.
