"Ugh…[Yawn] that was one of the best sleeps I've ever had."

While I was stretching, I realized something rather important, though.

"Fuck, that hurts like hell." My muscles were still very sore after using my body technique for the first time ever.

"[Sniff] Okay, now that stinks so much, this is the most I've ever sweated in my life. I guess it also kind of got rid of some impurities in my body, but not that much since I was only able to make 1 rotation before becoming dead tired. I should be able to do more though after today because since I've, in a sense, loosened my muscles now and am allowing my chi to flow through my body, I should have grown stronger, not by much, but I can tell. It's like if I could lift 50 kg before, now I can lift 80 with the same effort as if it were 50."

After getting off my bed and taking off the sheet so it could be washed later, I made my way to a freshly new tub of water.

"Ugh, fuck! I forgot it was cold… [exhale] Well, at least it woke me up, and it isn't all that bad, well, not as bad as yesterday."

After enjoying my cold bath for a while longer, I decided to get out and get dressed in my clothes from yesterday.

'I need to buy some new clothes today as well as try to sell my medicines.'

Before leaving, I take a bite of one of my steam buns and lock the door on my way out.

After heading down the stairs, I head to the entrance and ask one of the waitresses where I could find a decently priced clothing store for ready-made robes.

"Excuse me, sister, could you please tell me where I could find a ready-made robes store?"

"Mhmm, I can see you are indeed in need of clothes, junior brother. There is a robes store on the way to the Heavenly Dawn Auction House."

"Oh, sister, what does the auction have for this day, any clues?"

She looks at me for a moment, and then an expression of realization hits her.

"Ah, junior brother must be from outside Xiun City, right?" (Although they call it a city, it's more like a town, but oh well.)

"Yes, senior sister, I am. I arrived here yesterday, and today I'm going to do some exploring."

In a hushed tone, she whispers to me what the main selling point at the auction will be today and why there are a lot of people here in Xiun City.

"Hmmm, from my knowledge, they said they would be selling a low profound rank weapon."

"Thank you, senior sister, for the information. Have a good day, sister."

After saying my goodbyes, I left to try and find the robes shop she had told me about.

Once I found the robes store, I bought 2 pairs of robes, and after deliberating for a while, I also bought a cool but plain-looking mask for when I go to the auction to sell my medicines.

'Not gonna lie, this is pretty nerve-wracking. You know, walking to the tallest building in this city. I'm pretty sure it's a pagoda where you see auctions happen in manhwa, but then also wonder how the halls inside look so big compared to the outside of the building.'

As I was heading to the building, I was stopped by 2 burly-looking men asking me what I'm here for today.

"Stop. Are you here to buy items, or are you here to sell items?"

"Ah, yes, I'm here to sell some things and get them appraised."

He looked at me with a knowing expression.

'Ah, I get it. He must be thinking I'm one of those people who come to try their luck and try to strike riches. Well, in a way, he's not wrong, but I know my medicines will be a hit, especially for non-cultivators and low-level cultivators who can't afford pills.'

He pointed to a section where I could clearly see some rather jittery people, probably because they are hoping to find jade in an ordinary stone or a common herb which they think could be a heavenly treasure.

I nodded to him as thanks and made my way to a counter that had the least amount of people. After waiting for a while, I got to the front, and I met a beautiful lady who asked me about what I wanted to sell.

"Junior brother, what would you like to sell at our auction house today?"

I proceeded to show her my medicinal pastes and my tranquilizing liquid and explained their properties to her.

"I would like to sell 3 things, actually. The first would be this healing paste, which can help wounds heal faster but not as fast as pills, and it also numbs the pain. Next would be this burn paste, which would help numb burning pains and also heal them slowly like the healing paste. And lastly, I would like to sell this liquid, which is a tranquilizer so it can be used in hunting beasts."

She looked surprised, then looked at me skeptically and then said, "Although these sound amazing, I would need to get an appraiser for us to know that what you said is true."

She looked at me as if waiting for me to burst out at her, but I just nodded calmly. She was slightly surprised but was happy and left to go find an appraiser.

After a few minutes, she returned with a middle-aged man who immediately started to look at the pastes and proceeded to put his spiritual energy into it and looked as if he was reading something. I was pretty interested in what he was doing, so I asked the girl.

"What exactly is he doing?"

"The senior is using his spiritual energy to interact with the pastes by simulating what would happen to it by using his chi as a base of the body."

I was still confused about how that would work, but it soon kind of made sense to me.

'So is it like seeing how the chi would act with the medicine, like the medical paste will pull the chi to the affected area, and the herbs would do the rest, I think.'

"This is fascinating, young man. This medicine is indeed what you say it is. I think it would sell a lot in today's auction."

I mentally high five myself because now I would be able to get some good money.

After putting my medicines into a somewhat fancy tin for better aesthetics, they gave me a low VIP seat so that I could watch the auction to see how many tails I would get.

'Guess I've got to wait for the auction now.'

While waiting for the auction to start, I wanted to try my gamer's mind technique so that I could make my mental ability better. I mean, I had nothing better to do anyway.

'I'll practice for an hour and then wait for the auction to start about half an hour later.'

I sat in a lotus position and started using the technique. [Slow and calm breathing sounds].
