Yandere Nine Heavens

Name is pretty self explanatory, but basically the story is about a guy travelling the Nine Heavens and yanderes. It's actually more intricate that it sounds, but feel free to make your own judgement. For Mo An, imagine esdeath-esque For Mo Huilan, imagine Jasmin Rantin from Yandere Therapy with electric blue eyes as well

Truth of the matter

Mother POV

Jing was worried. Her son was growing up too fast for a two year old. She wanted him to remain oblivious until he reached 13, the time when people could begin to cultivate.

'Ugh.'

Thinking about cultivation made her feel a bit bad. The king had a few wives with great talent and a bunch of concubines. The wives were strong and the rest of the concubines all had unique physiques. This was the reason the king had taken them as concubines. For either the cultivation benefit to himself or the possibility of the offspring inheriting the physique and becoming even stronger.

Unfortunately, she was the only concubine chosen solely because she was beautiful. This made her the weakest, the least likely to have unique offspring, and, as a result, the most scorned. She was given an area to herself out of respect for her concubine status, but that was it. No one in the kingdom was truly on her side.

Nevertheless, she believed. She was chosen for her beauty, not her strength or benefits. Surely, this must mean that the king had some preference towards her. Not only that, but her son inherited her looks to an even higher degree. She wasn't bragging when she said he was the most charming being she had ever met. With sharp angular features, unbefitting of a child, he had black hair and black eyes that pierced the soul and charmed the mind. Though it was on the level of unbearably cute right now, she knew that he would grow up to be the most handsome man. She could just feel it.

She loved her child. More than anything. She also loved her husband. Though they weren't married and he wasn't technically her husband, she had hope. She knew that her husband loved her. He had to. She just wanted a little proof. She had a talk with her husband regarding her living situations and perhaps moving into an area more suitable for her son to interact with the other concubines children, but he had said no. She was sure that was only for her and her son's own safety. That's right... He didn't want them to be a subject of scorn. Surely...

Anyways, she would get his attention soon enough. She was going to go meet him again, not to meet him for the living situation... no... she had news. She was pregnant. She could feel it. And they had a physique.

How could she tell? Though cultivation talent couldn't be determined before 13, physiques were there before birth. It could be shown through instincts and confirmed through treasures, something she had yet to do. Surely, this would get the her husband's attention. Her first child didn't have a physique, he was just insanely handsome, but her second did. Perhaps, it was something inherited from the father's side. Surely, he would care and tell her he loved her... yes, that's right. She would be by his side. She would ask for another meeting, to tell him the news.

MC POV

While the mom was having her little breakd- *Ahem* inner debate, Rain was having other concerns.

'13, huh?'

He assumed due to a lack of knowledge and system that he couldn't speed up that time frame. He didn't know if some bullshit like the system was damaged during transport was going to happen or something like that, so he could only wait. He could imagine that there were treasures to determine talent out there, but he figured since he wasn't informed that they weren't available to him and he didn't particularly care to ask. Surely, since he was a transmigrator, he had good talent. Destiny was on his side after all. Or so he was told.

Anyways, there was nothing to be done. Since he wouldn't be able to awaken till thirteen, he should just do whatever he wants. He didn't want to become a martial arts prodigy and take lessons. Though he was sure it would be beneficial, he wasn't seeking to do anything big. Enough power to defend himself or deter attackers would be nice however.

He would be worried, but he's apparently apart of a major family. Though he expected that they didn't have high status, avoiding his family members who might be the only ones who dared to scorn him, shouldn't be a problem. Rain had no problem being alone, in fact, he preferred it as long as he had something else to occupy his attention. Fortunately, he liked to read. Even more fortunate, their happened to be a library.

His primary concerns should be getting smarter. Rain hated being oblivious or lacking information. He didn't want to get into unnecessary things by accident due to lack of information, that was his least favorite thing. He didn't need to know everything, but he imagined lacking information on etiquette would be his downfall. There were times when he made jokes thinking it was perfectly fine in his past life, only to realize he made things weird and be embarrassed. He hated that feeling, the feeling of his face growing hot and his emotions swerving out of control. So rather than train his body, he preferred to train his mind.

Though there was one other concern. He didn't have the highest EQ, but he could clearly see certain emotions flash across his mother's face. She wasn't good at hiding it, or at least, she had her guard down against her 'two' year old son. He didn't know what would happen there. I guess he would just comfort her if things go to shit? From the information that he had been given and that he had discerned, his father was a bit scummy. Probably had a lot of lust and not a lot of love.

To be honest, Rain didn't mind that too much. But he didn't like people leading others on. He felt that relationships should be clearly defined, either by actions or just straight words. Rain was a rather frank person and only lied as a joke or when he deemed it necessary. He hadn't got much of a chance to act this way in his past life, with the constant pressure of judgement weighing on him, but he hoped to change. Easier said than done, but at least he didn't have a lot of first impressions to correct.

'Come to think of it, though this is only indirectly rated, what do I look like?'

His mother had left after sitting quietly with him for a while so he just got up. He walked over to the courtyard door and knocked. The maid opened and looked at him, confusion and annoyance on her face.

Not missing the fact that she didn't hide her annoyance, even more proof of his low status, he decided to introduce some boundaries.

"I'm going to the library. Do you know where a mirror is?"

Rain didn't hide anything nor try to flatter. He wasn't trying to improve their relationship. Just acknowledging each other and showing respect by informing her of his journey this time.

The maid frowned, but responded:

"Fine by me. There should be a desk in the back of the library as a place to read and a mirror above it. Do not leave the library and go anywhere else without informing me. Not that you could escape my senses as a mortal anyways. You are not allowed to leave the courtyard."

'Boundaries defined.'

Smiling internally, Rain nodded and left to go out the other door. He walked to the library and , sure enough, there was a desk and a mirror above it. Rain didn't like to read sitting in a chair like that, but the mirror would be useful. He climbed on the chair and then onto the desk as he was not tall enough to see his own reflection.

'Fuck, I'm cute.'

Rain didn't have a good cute sense, especially for humans. He liked puppies and kittens and stuff like that, but he took less joy in a baby. They weren't fluffy.

'At least, I got a good body.'

Even as a male, he could appreciate his looks.

'Is this what Jensen Ackles feels like?'

Surely that man looked in the mirror every once in a while and pondered how lucky he was.

Surely.

Saw some comments. Just setting up the story, as you can see, but I am clearly defining mc's character and what you should expect from him.

The Jensen Ackles shit was not me being gay, just an SPN fam. I'm being a 100 percent serious about my point in the chapter though.

Expect yandere to show up in next 2 chaps, I think. Then a small time skip, introduce another character, and then bigger timeskip. I think that's the plan.

Also, I said yanderes will probably hate each other, this will probably be true for the ones that didn't have any good relationships with each other pre-yandere. They might tolerate each other otherwise.
