Yami Yami no Mi In Tales of Demons and Gods

In a dark room filled with people, there was a single source of light at the centre, a surgical light focused on a man chained to a bed.

The room was filled with many people. Some wore black suits while some wore white lab coats and masks.

A man in the black suit approaches the man on the bed and says "Timmy, it would save time and effort for everyone in this room if you just told us how you did it."

"Why don't you cut me open like the rest and figure it out?" the man on the bed named Timmy, said with a smirk.

"We didn't learn anything from them. That's the reason you are here. You gave them the ability to read minds and you are the only person on the earth to know about this. So, please don't make us use violence on the greatest scientist and spy of all time." the man in the black suit said.

"Ricky, don't forget I can read the minds of everyone here. You are going to kill me today, even after I reveal the process. So, what better way to die, than knowing that your enemy didn't get what they wanted." Timmy said.

The man in the black suit talking to Timmy, Rick, still kept calm and said "Mr. Timmy, we are not your enemies. This is for the betterment of the world. The United Nations will use it for the welfare of the people."

Timmy said "Don't think I don't know about their stupid plan of reading memories and killing people who might be a threat in the future. Their foolish dream of a crime free world."

"What is foolish in that? They want to keep the good people safe by eliminating threats before they get to do something bad. So, please don't make this difficult for us Mr. Timmy." Rick said and Timmy laughed out loud.

Everyone in the room looked at him like a madman, but actually, he was as way wiser than everyone in the room. Timmy said to himself "Do you think I never had this thought? It was the first thing that came to my mind when I got these powers and it is the very reason I became a spy for the government, killing people to keep the world safe.

I even gave powers to read minds to 5 people whom I trusted to share the same goal, but I was completely wrong. A person cannot be judged by his thoughts as a very good man can also have bad thoughts and even the most evil man of all time may have a few good thoughts.

I learnt this the hard way, after killing dozens of innocent people and giving the power to a criminal, thinking he had changed. There is no way I am going along with this foolish dream of a crime free world."

Timmy then looked at the man named Rick and said "Ricky, today is the day, the great Mr. Timmy dies." and bit his tongue off. Rick tried to stop him, but was too late.

Rick looked at Timmy's lifeless body, as he didn't just bite off his tongue. it looks like he had prepared poison beforehand. His lips were pale and his body moved vigorously before stopping.

Rick punched the bed as he was out of options and didn't know what to do. He would be blamed by the whole world for failing his task. He punched Timmy and shouted "Mother f***er.... couldn't you just tell the shit they need and die. Why do you have to kill me too?" as he knew he would be killed after the higher ups learn of his failure, which didn't take much time.

While this was happening Timmy was floating in a white space with a body made of blue flames. He looked at the person in front of him, who wore a black cloak and was going through some book.

He read through the book and said "Hmmm... interesting, my angels sure are doing a great job. Mr. Timmy" he said in the end and Timmy replied "Yes" in a polite tone.

"Let's see your qualities...A genius who specialises in biomedical signals and invented a serum to mutate the brain to read the electric signals of other's brain and also created a serum to kill the mutated cells after the user dies. As for the rest, it isn't important.

Do you realise why you are here Timmy?" the ROB asked in the end and Timmy tried guessing "Is it because I helped people or sacrificed myself?"

Seeing the ROB silent, he guessed"Is it because I am intelligent? Or, is it because..." but the ROB stopped him and said "Let me save time for both of us. You are here because you are among the few geniuses who are huge fans of fictional works. The rest of the intelligent people on your world just thought of them as unproductive or waste of time."

Hearing that, Timmy was disappointed to know that he wasn't special. The ROB continued "I am what you guys call, The God of Reincarnation. You see, we god's have angels, who act as gods in the lower realm, meaning your world and the rest.

The angels of God of Time and God of Space were captured by an evil man and they asked me for help, since we can't enter Cultivation worlds. You should be knowing that world, a novel and a comic adaptation was there in your world. What was it called again.....yes, The Tales of Demons and Gods.

You will be granted a wish for completing this task. So, grow in power and defeat this person called Sage Emperor, save those angels."

Timmy immediately asked "Umm.....God, will I get any help from you? If I remember correctly, every cultivation world is filled with dangerous people and I can die before I even know who my enemy is."

"This world is closed off for us Gods, so we can't offer much help. The only thing I can give you, is the power of a Devil fruit and another power you wish." The God replied.

"Do I get to choose the devil fruit?" Timmy asked and the God shook his head as he said "It is generated with the powers of the Goddess of System and I have no control over it. That's the reason I granted you another power, which you can ask."

"Then I want knowledge, the more, the better." Timmy said, as being a scientist and a spy, he knows the importance of knowledge and it applies to any world.

"Good choice. I have the authority to grant you knowledge of someone in the world, as even I don't know much about the world. I guess the protagonist of the novel had the most knowledge, so you will have all the knowledge he has." The God of Reincarnation said and Timmy nodded.

The God said "Even though you have a task to do, you can still enjoy your life and live how you want. Just remember that you must save them in 50 years. Any longer than this and you might anger the God of Time and God of Space." and waves his hand.

Timmy then disappears from the white space and the God of Reincarnation waves his hand again, making the white room disappear. He sighed and said "Shit, it is very difficult to act nice. He wouldn't just stop with the questions. If he had asked one more question, I would have killed him."

Then another person in a cloak places a hand on his shoulder and it was the hand of a woman. She says to the God of Reincarnation "Now now.... don't forget that we are cultivating them. Don't ruin the excitement and enjoy the rewards."

"F*ck off bitch. I don't want you to tell me what to do. Just go back to seducing people like how you are supposed to do." The God of Reincarnation said in a rude tone and the woman was filled with rage, but hid it and smiled at him before walking away.

But as she walked away, her smile grew wider and she said in her head "Just wait God of Reincarnation, you will soon be begging for your life at my feet. You yourself prepared my new toy and your death."

(If anyone still hasn't understood what happened till now, let me summarise it for you. Timmy is a scientist, who discovered a serum to help him read minds. He became a spy to help the world with that power, but later realised it isn't the correct method and stopped while also making a counter serum to kill the brain cells when the person dies. He was finally captured by the government and he killed himself.)

Timmy, the soul that got a chance to be reborn again lost its conscious when the God of Reincarnation waves his hand and gained conscious after a while.

He slowly opened his eyes and looked around. He was sleeping on a soft bed which was huge compared to his size. The room was made out of wood and it had an ancient feel to it.

He got up and said to himself "That wasn't a dream then. I can't believe I just crossed dimensions and possess a body after dying. I don't think there were any complications in the proce..." but was interrupted by the sudden pain in his head.

He felt like someone was someone was hammering his head and the brain was being crushed. He had already experienced this once when he tried the serum he made.

He gripped his head in pain, but didn't scream and held it in. It took him one hour to calm down and another one hour to organize his thoughts, as he had received a lot of information and shit ton of memories, both of Nie Li, the protagonist, and Ye Han the body Timmy is currently possessing.

He lay on the bed and thought about all the things in his head and stretched out his hand to look at his tiny hands. He said to himself with a sigh "Although I am happy that I have this much knowledge, I hate the fact that I have to go through childhood and puberty again. I still remember the dark memories of my teenager life which I want to forget.

Well, there are a few good things though. This knowledge is the best. No wonder the protagonist of the show showed that much talent in cultivation. It wasn't due to his natural talent, he has various techniques and perks that increased his talent and strength. His knowledge itself is a cheat.

Sorry man, I now have the knowledge and I am reborn before you, so don't blame me for exploiting all the rewards there are in this world."

He then got up with a jump and walked to the mirror in his room. He looked at himself in the mirror and said as he rubbed his chin "I can't tell how I would look when I grow up. Well, I don't have to worry about that now. I first have to take care of my clothes."

This is because, although Timmy, or, Ye Han, had been brought to the Snow Wind Family two days before Timmy possessed the body, he still wasn't given decent clothing. He had cheap looking clothes that were worse than the cheap worn-out clothing from his previous planet, earth.

Ye Han sighed as he couldn't do anything about it. He was an orphan two days ago. If he tried to do something stupid, he might be kicked out back to the streets.

He thought a lot about what to do, and came up with a detailed plan with all the information he had. He walked to the door and slides it open. He was given a tour of the whole family estate and knew where to go, the library. Although he had information, he needed more and the best way to do that, is to get his own power, the power to read minds.
