Suspicion

He smiled "i had some things to take care of" he said,

"How did you find me?" she asked,

"I tracked you using my talisman" he responded,

She sighed "fine, since you are here can you please help us het back to the others?" she asked,

"Of course my lady" he responded as he closed his eyes and found the way to the others.

" Come on follow me" he said and so they did.

After a few minutes of wondering in the woods they finally caught up with the other.

Upon seeing them her cousins sighed "you guys okay?" Mo asked,

"Yeah we are fine, just got a little lost" Lien responded,

"Good now you better return without a scratch before you future husband kills us" one of the guy said,

Wang eyes widened "husband?" he asked,

"Yes haven't you heard Lien is going to marry Hu" the guy responded,

He looked at Lien and she smiled "congratulations lady Lien" he said,

She sighed "thank you Wang".

While they continued looking Yu stopped "i am hungry" he said,

His brother went "grr.. i will put a deadly curse on food if you don't shut up" he replied,

"Okay i changed my mind" he said as he smiled nervously,

"Good" his brother said as Lien passed him a bun.

"Enjoy" she said,

He hugged her "thank you".

"Yu you are welcome, let go now please" she said,

"Okay sorry" he replied,

"It's fine" she said as she drank some water then passed it to Wang.

The guy collected the bottle then asked "are you happy lady Lien?".

She stopped and looked at him "y.. yes i am" she responded,

"Oh as long as you are happy" he said.

A little while after they came upon an open field with sticks and a few dead bodies were there.

Due to the stench the girl covered her nose.

"What the hell happened her?" Mo asked,

"These are innocent people" Yu said and Lien grabbed the bun out of his hand.

"Don't throw up" she said,

"Thanks" he replied.

After looking at the dead bodies, the girl entire body got cold and Wang held on to her "are you okay?" he asked,

"I am fine, thanks" she responded as she held on tightly to his robe.

"Guys these are some of the zombies that attacked us a few days ago" one of the guys said,

"Yeah i know and there are a lot of resentful energy here, be careful especially you lady Lien" Mo said,

"I know" she replied as Wang tied the string from his sword to her and around his wrist binding them together.

"Lady Lien can you are you sure you don't want to go back?" Wang asked,

"I am sure, please stop worrying about me Wang" she responded and he sighed.

"Guys i think we should get out of here, whatever this is, it is too powerful for us to take on even as a group" Yu said,

"He might be right" Lien said as she started coughing and a snake mark appeared on her neck.

Wang saw and raised his right brow as he placed her hair on the mark.

"What are you doing?" she asked,

'Keeping you safe now shut up" he said,

She puffed her lips and turned away as the wind blew cold and strong.

"What's with the change of atmosphere?" Yu asked as he grabbed on to his brother,

"Scaredy cat" his brother said,

'Enough Mo, he has a right to be scared" Lien replied,

'You are right, sorry" Mo said,

"It's fine" Yu replied as he grabbed on to his sword.

The group then saw something black rising up from the mountain and formed a snake.

"Guys i don't like this" Yu said,

"It's okay, relax Yu" Lien said as she grabbed on to his shoulder and they formed a circle around the girl.

Wang eyes glowed purple "come and try take her" he said to himself as he pulled out his sword and it glowed purple.

She looked at him "put your sword away please" she said,

He gasped and looked at her "why?" he asked,

She looked at him sternly "do ask i asked, it's for your own good" she said,

"Fine" he replied as he placed his sword by his side.

The snake looked at the girl and the boy stared it in it's eyes and he smiled.

The girl saw "i hope i am wrong about you" she said to herself as her sword glowed blue and she pointed it towards it.

"What are you doing?" he asked,

"I am tired of being a target by demons" she said as she closed her eyes and flew up in the air on her sword.

She then looked down at Wang and her eyes glowed, she then grabbed a few of her talisman and each end of them glowed, she then threw it on the snake.

The snake then started to keep a sound, it was like it was screaming.

She then covered her ears and created a formation around the group as the snake fell and disappeared.

She then came back to the ground and removed the formation "let's go home, there is no source on any of the mountains, someone is creating these things and it is not going to be easy to find the person or thing" she said as she looked at Wang sternly and he jumped.

While they were on their way back, Wang came to her side, she looked at him and he held on to her hand.

She then removed his hand "do not get too close to me, i am a girl that's going to get married soon, it will be inappropriate for a stranger to touch me like that" she said,

He laughed "as you wish".

Upon arriving back at her home, her brother asked the guards to arrest him.

The girl was confused as they were about to placed the cuffs on his hand but then his eyes glowed purple and his hand lit up, he then grabbed and swung his sword which released a bright purple aura that sent them flying into the walls.
