After the girl sat down she became worried that if they found out that she was lying then Wang would be in great trouble and she was not about to let that happen even if she has to lie again and again.

The girl ate her breakfast and while she was eating she noticed that Hu was looking at her and she smiled gently.

"You two would be going on your first date before your marriage," her brother said and she coughed.

"Is everything okay sis?" her brother asked,

"Yeah everything is fine, I just need some water" she responded as she grabbed the glass from the table.

"Is today okay for you Hu?" her brother asked,

'Yeah today is perfect for me" he responded as he looked at her sternly and she swallowed deeply.

"Seems like I am being trapped today, Hu is scary sometimes but I guess I will have to deal with him, wait... I don't have to go I am hurt" she said to herself,

"Bro... can you place the date for another day my foot still need to heal?" she asked,

"Yeah any day is fine with me, she needs to heal" Hu responded and her brother along with Yu stared at the two of them.

"Thank you," she said,

"You.. are... welcome" he replied as she drank her juice and stared at him at the same time.

"He is starting to piss me off," she said to herself.

"Well bro I have some things to take care of, I want some rest think you can handle today?" she asked and he smiled,

'Of course, I can relax" he replied and she smiled.

"Can I spend the day by your side?" Hu asked and her eyes widened as she looked at him then he turned away and she sighed.

'Fine but there is a price" she responded,

'What prince?" he asked as she leaned forward and took his dumpling then he smiled,

'We have a deal then" he responded,

"Deal," she said as she dipped the dumpling in the hot chili sauce and ate it.

'When they finished eating she stood up and then they saw the snake around her hand.

'Nice snake" Hu said as he got up and walked to her then stretched out his hands to the snake and the golden snake sniffed him then rubbed its head against Hu's palm showing that he is trustworthy.

"You know you two would make a great married couple," her uncle said and the girl folded her cuffs in anger.

'I wish I can smash his face in" she said to herself with a smile.

"Are you happy with this alliance?" her uncle asked,

"Yeah... besides even if I wasn't it's not like it would actually even matter to you" she responded and her brother looked at her wondering what's going on with her.

'Anyways I am going now, I want to buy a few things in town" she said as she walked away and Hu went with her.

"Uh... Yu is everything okay with my sis she seems to be on the edge?" he asked,

"Ah... I do not know, she seems moody for sure though" Yu responded with a smile.

'Seems like something must have happened that she does not want to take about, I say everyone should leave her alone especially her uncle, trust me you do not want to get your sister angry" Yu whispered to Han.

"Fine, I will take your word for it" Hna responded then got up and left.

"Leader Wang I will go meet your sis before I leave," he said,

"Good you go do that I have this ghost problem to deal with" he replied then left and Yu went after Lien.

"Lien" he shouted as she was about to go in the carriage.

"Yu is everything okay?" she asked,

'I will be leaving now" he responded and she frowned then he patted her on the head ruffling her hair and she pouted then Hu smiled.

"Hair takes time to fix I should strangle you," she said then he kissed her on the cheek and she smiled.

"You like to pick trouble why do you have to leave so soon?" she asked,

'Lien you know I cannot stay if I do then you will have a problem on your head so to avoid that I will leave" he responded with a frown then Hu sighed feeling sorry for the two of them for he knew that they spent most of their lives together.

"Don't worry when we get married you two can be together, come live with us" Hu said and the girl frowned,

"That's if she goes ahead with the wedding" Yu replied and Lien hugged him and the way she hugged him he already knew something was wrong, he could have felt the tension all over her body.

'Are you okay?" he whispered in her ear,

"I want you and Wang to keep each other safe can you do that?" she asked and he smiled,

'Of course, relax" he responded then raised.

"You two be careful and Hu protect her no matter what," Yu said,

"Rest assured she will be safe with me" Hu replied then Yu left.

'Are you ready to go?" Hu asked,

'Yeah: she responded and as she was about to enter the carriage her feet slipped and she was about to fall but her fiancee grabbed onto her.

His hand was around her and hers were around his neck as they stared each other in the eyes.

"Are you okay?" he asked as he raised her,

"Yeah I am fine thank you lord Hu" she responded and he smiled,

"What?" she asked then he patted her on the head and her eyes widened.

"You do not have to call me lord Hu, just call me Hu after all you are my future wife" he responded then she got into the car and they sat on the seat opposite each other as they took off to the city.
