WOULD THERE STILL BE ANYONE WHO READS POEMS THESE DAYS?

Seriously, do people these days still appreciate the beauty of poems? I mean, the hidden meaning of each line kept within minimal wordings. The need to not over-explain but get across the meaning just the same. That's how beautiful poems are. This is a poem compilation of a bugged mind, seeking purpose in life. Words you may not put into stories, you'll find here.

Letters for No One: 13. Beautiful

Flowers they bloom

red, white, yellow, pink

in a land that knows

no gloomy days

The rain pour

heavy on the thin roof

cooling the warmth

that I once had

Wind sings songs of loneliness

and I hum with it

amazed that I know every single note

And then there was you

gleaming, glowing

and that beautiful smile of yours

making me bawl my eyes

making me want to cry.
