Description:

A young man that was chosen by the path of the mind. But his soul is already tainted. The black veins are a sign of the already miserable future ahead of him. He should prepare for war as there is no way to stop them, but he changed his destiny. If for better or worse, that has not been answered yet...

"Should I be afraid?" "There is no good future in the Void, but as you are of both, you have to explore even the darkest depths of your powers." A deep voice resounded near Mars's ears. Small flakes of ash swirled around him.

"Why didn't you speak with me?" "What did I say about contacting the other Wyrms? You were lucky that Merkur responded and not someone like Vulcaneus. He is neutral and saw your functionality. Others could react with rage. Those higher beings are emotionally variable, probably from living too long. -Sigh- Also it was a test to see how you would react and how much ypu could grow... and you did well."

"Is that a praise?" "Sure, you little magot." Aurelius thought about something. "As for what to do next, you still have 2 more Void Cores right?" Without waiting for an answer Aurelius continued "Feed them to your Energy Core and explore what resides inside you. That will take some time, but you can manage. Still be prepared for the worst, don't let yourself be controlled, little human." Mars knew that the last sentence had a deep meaning to it and so he stayed still and prepared himself mentally, after all he had time in this realm of his. Even after the fog and those gray eyes disappeared, he stood still and thought about himself, the Wyrms and the Void. He never came to a conclusion as he already stood before his Energy Core. "I must have summoned it unconsciously, that should mean, I have to start now." The beast was gazing at him again and slowly diverted its gaze onto the Cores that manifested from Mars's Mind Space. Like the first time he pushed them into the Energy Core letting them get sucked up by it. The malicious intent from the beast only made him frown slightly and startled him, a big difference to the first time they have met. The beast must have realized that escape was not an option and at least it was fed.

The Void Cores got gobbled up quickly and the end got signaled by a system announcement.

Seeing Mars's disappointed face must have delighted the beast as a chuckle could be heard from it. It also somehow knew what Mars was planning, so it might have enjoyed having the upper hand.

Mars released his Mind Force holding it in place, almost crushing it to show his superiority. The chuckle stopped and silence got ahold of this place. It threw a challenging gaze at Mars that he withstood easily. A test. Closing it eyes, it seemed to gave up and accepted the comand.

The Energy Core expanded itself cloaking everything in its pitch black colour and shutting off the gravity. Mars was currently floating. He opened his eyes wide in disbelief, thinking he must have entered a new space.

'That must be how they communicated back then and let the reinforcements knew that they shouldn't come. The downside to it should be that their physical bodies still exist and are vulnerable. How is the flow of time here?'

Seemingly delighted Mars took this new sensation in. It was peacefully quiet and the blackness soothed his shaken up mind. He just floated in there and tried to find clues to the Void beings. All this time Mars couldn't help but feel strange as if something was watching him from here within.

With a deep voice Mars shouted "Come out!"

A roar could be heard rummoring through this place, echoing everywhere. Four large blue eyes just appeared out of thin air in front of Mars, intimidating him and letting him freeze. Those were the eyes from the Void beast captured in his core. The Void now seemed like a cage and he was thrown in their with it!

After showing its eyes, the rest of its body appeared. It glowed with a dark-blue light giving off an entirely eery feeling. The body of a deep sea dragon, that swam through the Void. The body of a higher beast!
