After he took out the shields and spears, Darius tried to use them. While it was a bit oversized, Darius could keep them equipped… running was another matter altogether.
"It would be nice to see their parameters… I didn't have the chance to confirm it, but the orcs also had levels once they were here," Darius thought and then tried to make the world work like that, but it didn't work. "I guess I need a spell or skill to analyze items…."
Although Darius couldn't see the parameters of the spears and shields, he was able to do something else.

Darius improved his status screen by changing the rules of the world; at the same time, he changed something else and kept using the shield and spear for a while. Eventually, something happened.
(You obtained the passive Spear Mastery.)
(You obtained the passive Shield Mastery.)
(Spear Mastery - 0/100: You are on the path of mastering the spear. Always hit the enemies with the pointy end! Each level increases your ability and damage caused when using spears by one percent.)
(Shield Mastery - 0/100: Sometimes parrying is better than blocking; keep your head behind the shield if you know what is better for you! Each level increases your ability to use the shield to block or parry the attacks in time.)
"Now those are some weird descriptions…" Darius furrowed his eyebrows. "I need to check the levels of the orcs before the next battle happens. Depending on that, I might be able to fight them with the shield and spear."
It was still dark outside, so Darius had some time to train. While he couldn't do anything fancy, he began to practice attacks with the spear. It wasn't half bad… he could get one point of experience per second. After doing some math, Darius confirmed that he probably could make the skill reach level fifty if he trained hard for six months… that should be enough to cover for the difference in strength.
"I don't have all that much free time… even though that much time here would only be six five hours outside," Darius thought. "Besides, fighting should be a better way to gain experience for skills as well."
Dariu was the kind of guy who would rather use magic, but he had no idea how he could learn it, and he tried a bunch of crazy shit to learn that in his domain… he wouldn't be able to cut corners there.
After training enough to get a single level of Spear Mastery, Darius got tired of it… he noticed a small difference. Still, as expected, it was too time-consuming. Maybe he could learn how to make Shadow Clones in that world and force them to train for him. He tried that, but it failed…
When Darius left his dominion, he confirmed that the sun was starting to rise outside. He still had some time before the action could start, so he decided to do some experiments. First of all, he sent a random tree filled with fruits to his domain. The other coconut tree that he tried to grow had become an adult one by now, even without water and sunlight… Darius imagined that the aether made them grow. So, that was an excellent way to get a bunch of fruits and stock them for emergencies. They would rot if he didn't get them on time, though.
"Some coconuts fell and eventually fell into pieces and began to rot, but they are trees from Earth; maybe the trees from here produce Aether as well," Darius thought.
After one hour in the other world, around forty days had passed in Darius' domain. Some fruits fell and eventually began to rot… they didn't get him any aether, though.
"I guess I will have to capture animals… just letting them die there would be a waste, though," Darius thought while he was walking toward the Orcs' base. "A good enough environment to make them grow and multiply will be more efficient."
The island will have to get a lot larger, and Darius will also have to move a bunch of plants and trees there… he also will have to change the terrain and split the creatures by time, or they will eat each other.
"I have a lot of work ahead of me, but this sounds so fun… I want to breed monsters and make them evolve," Darius thought. "If I make an orc obedient, maybe I can turn it into an orc champion, orch hero, or orc king…"
Darius smiled… he liked that kind of thing. The game that he played before was exactly like that… he could only speed up time up to ten times, though.
Not to mention, Darius would also be able to hunt monsters for experience there. After a single day, their numbers would increase more than ten times… he also could hunt animals for meat and their leather. The possibilities were endless!
In any case, Darius calmed down when he saw the army of orcs moving toward the city. The sun had barely risen in the sky, and they were already ready to fight.
"I need to make a lot more progress today… the question is how," Darius thought while he watched the army of monsters.
After thinking for a while, Darius had an idea. A direct attack wouldn't show many results now, but what about a back attack?
