Side Story - Lucy and Rudel (Part 1)

"Lucy, if you have nowhere to go, and if you want to, you can stay here living as long as you want."

"... Huh?"

I was trembling as I heard something unexpected.

After Jude threatened me with the necklace, I went to my younger sister, Diana, for help, but she refused.

I had nowhere else to go so I went to Rudel-kun's house for some reason.

After listening to him say crazy things, he said something strange.

"Don't worry. I won't do anything strange to you. I'm harmless. You can't go home can you?"

A girl and a guy living together only means one thing.

After that, I went to choose a room.

He handed me some purchased clothes that he hadn't worn.

After a while I went downstairs to eat the food he prepare.

I once heard of people putting things in other people's food.

I felt very reluctant at first to eat, but he ate normally. So I decided to try a bite.

It was delicious, then without realizing it I finished it, thanked him for the food and ran to my room to lock the door.

Since he's the owner, he probably has keys to all the rooms, so I moved a piece of furniture to the door to make sure he can't get in.

After that, I fell asleep.

When I woke up I noticed something strange.

Everything was still the same, that was the strange thing.

But even stranger was that I fell asleep because I was so tired from the exhausting day.

When I went downstairs, I didn't find him in the living room, kitchen or anywhere else. But when I looked out a window, I saw him exercising in the backyard.

I sighed and slapped myself hard.

"I'm such an idiot. I thought the worst to the one who reached out to me when no one else did."

I went outside to say good morning to him.

I've been living here for two days now.

I have new clothes that Rudel-kun gave me.

I'll return them to him obviously.

I got up early to make breakfast since he went to train with one of his friends from the kingdom yesterday.

I'll make him a power breakfast today. So let's wake him up.

I approached his room quietly to wake him up, as I opened the door to shout good morning to him.

I stumbled upon something I forgot.

He... is a boy after all.

Unlike girls who have... well, what makes us girls. Boys have something that makes them boys, I only saw him once in science class, but that was last year.

He was sleeping peacefully, but a part of his body was up early in the morning.

I forgot to wake him up and escaped from there.

Since today is another day, I decided to wake him up again, yesterday was a surprise.

But for sure today won't happen.

I walked into his room and what was up was his leg.

He looked like a baby with a silly face while sleeping.

It made me want to disturb him.

I approached him slowly and when I least expected it.

He put his leg down and stretched his body as if he was going to do some sport.

It was there that I watched it again, only this time he looked bigger.

"Noooooo!"

I punched him and ran away from there.

This time it was a new day.

After running out twice for scaring me to see him. This time I sat on a chair.

I was looking at him.

I got up from the chair to leave her room.

Wait... Don't tell me the reason he's like this every morning is because of me?

I'm flattered, but I don't see you that way.

I turned to leave his room, but I ran into one of his shirts.

It reeked of sweat, he hadn't washed it, but....

I bent down as I picked it up.

"His smell... it smells good."

It's sweat, but his sweat relaxes me. It's a feeling of having accomplished a goal or self-improvement.

My breathing was getting thoughtful as I smelled his shirt with a lot of passion.

I left it in place so this wouldn't get any weirder.

He came back after a couple of hours.

Before asking him how it went.

"Lucy, I'm sorry, but we have to pack. We're moving to Erselica's mansion for safety."

"To her house, why?"

"I made Derrick swear an oath to the sacred tree that he would have a duel with me. For security reasons we must go to the mansion since, unlike this house, there is no protection from foreign laws."

"I understand, I'll go pack my bags."

I was heading to my room to pack my bags, but for some. I felt it more manly, must be my stuff.
